In the darkness, Aella looked closely into Tyrones eyes and slowly calmed down.
Tyrone never did anything without being certain.
His confidence meant he must have made preparations in advance.
Tyrone assured her, “Don’t worry. I’ve already made arrangements. Mason’s wife a be fine.”
Aella silently looked away.
Neither spoke again as they hid quietly in the dark corner, waiting.
Half an hour later, two more vehicles finally arrived.
A foreigner and a bald man got out, followed by over a dozen armed thugs.

Aella watched in shock as these people headed into the abandoned building and immediately called the police.
She said to Tyrone, “I need to go save them!”
Tyrone stopped Aella.
He softened his tone to reassure her. “Noel and his men are already inside. Just in case, I’ll go in. You stay here and watch for the police.”
Aella insisted, “I’m going with you.”
Tyrone promised, “Trust me. Even if something happens to me, I won’t let anything happen to that mother and son.”
Their eyes met.
Tyrone’s gaze was incredibly determined.
Aella obediently nodded.
This time, she chose to trust Tyrone.
Watching Tyrone enter the pitch–black abandoned building, Aella waited outside anxiously.
There was already one group of kidnappers inside. Now two more groups had entered, all armed with weapons.

She’d only seen scenes like this on TV.
About ten minutes later, police cars came roaring up.
Aella finally saw hope.
Police officers got out of the vehicles. “Did you call this in?”
Aella pointed at the abandoned building. “Yes, I called. A mother and son are being held hostage inside. Please hurry and save them.”
The officers rushed into the abandoned building
Aella tried to follow but was stopped by the officers.
Shortly after, Tyrone walked out carrying Henry
The child seemed to have fainted and lay quietly in Tyrone’s arms.
Tyrone wore a black suit. A clear knife wound marked his arm, blood seeping through the fabric and dripping down. Because of the darkness, no one had noticed.
Paloma Fulford was clearly shaken and came out supported by a female officer and Noel.
Aella hurried over. “What happened to the child?”
Tyrone reassured her, “He fainted from shock. Both mother and son are fine.”
As a doctor, Aella was particularly sensitive to blood.
