Chapter 474 A Broken Trust That Won’t Heal
Aella held the menu tight. She felt moved.
When she had been with Tyrone, she had always adjusted to what he liked. Not only her, even her family had done the same.
It was a small thing. Nothing big at all.
But being cared about felt so good.
Not far away, Brad glanced at Tyrone and said quietly, “Want to go say hi?”
Tyrone stared at Aella, watching her touched expression. His hands curled at his sides.
“No.” He turned and walked away first.
During dinner, Tyrone barely tasted anything.
By the time he, Brad, and Raine finished on the second floor and headed down, Aella and Daniel were already gone.
Raine went to the car, while Brad and Tyrone stayed outside to smoke.
Brad said, “When Aella was with you, she gave in to you every time. Now she doesn’t have to. She finally gets to eat well.”
Tyrone’s face went dark. He warned, “If you don’t know how to talk, shut up.”
Brad asked, “Still not over her?”
Tyrone took a long drag. The smoke curled around him and blurred his eyes.
He wasn’t over her. What could he do about it?
Nothing.
Brad stared at Tyrone’s face and said, “Tyrone, I figured it out. You’re meant to stay single.”
Tyrone looked at him.
Time slipped past the New Year.
The weather warmed. Everything came back to life.
Everyone stayed busy with their own routines.

Chapter 474 A Broken Trust That Won’t Hel
Aella and Tyrone were invited by Mason and Paloma to visit the Fulfords.
to free woms
While they were there, Mason and Paloma learned that Aella and Tyrone had grown up together and had almost gotten married. Paloma pushed hard to match them again.
Aella was thin–skinned and let Paloma talk her into a few drinks.
Avoiding Tyrone’s burning stare, she secretly called Daniel to pick her up.
Once Tyrone found out, his mood crashed completely.
When they left the Fulfords, they stood beside Tyrone’s car.
Tyrone’s eyes were tinted red as he said, word by word, “Aella, am I that untrustworthy to you?”
She had been drinking, but he had never planned to take advantage. He only wanted to get her home to rest.
Tyrone stood frozen, watching the car drive away until it vanished.
So trust was this fragile.
Once a wall formed between people, they could never get close again.
He had crushed Aella’s trust with his own hands. Trying to rebuild it on broken ground was nearly impossible.
But even if it took five years, ten years, even a lifetime, he would never stop trying
One day, Aella would accept him again. She would trust him again.
Even if she never belonged to him.
Two evenings later, at the Winters Estate.
Ralph handed Tyrone an invitation. “The Hills are hosting a banquet on Friday night. You’re going.”
Tyrone opened it and glanced inside.
He asked his father, “Which member of the Hills is doing a welcome party?”
Ralph shook his head.
Virginia answered, “It’s Lilian. We saw her yesterday. She said Natasha wants to take in an adopted daughter.”
Just then, Brad and Raine came back inside.
Brad grabbed the invitation from Tyrone and looked it over. “Looks like the Hi. ake this seriously. They invited the Eight Great Families
Raine finally spoke, “The Hills have four kids already. Who is this girl they’re adopting that she’s worth such a banquet?”
