He set a stack of contracts on the coffee table, then looked at Virginia. “I’ve made up my mind. As long as you’re willing to come home, I agree to the divorce–and I’ll give you all
of our assets.
She had pushed for divorce, fought for the assets at the end of the day, she was fighting for their two kids.
Everything the Winters owned, he’d always planned to pass down to their son anyway.
They’d been married for so many years, and their children were already grown.
This family could not fall apart.
Virginia double–checked, “Ralph, as soon as these contracts are signed, all the power will be in my hands.”
She added, “Even if I move back into the Winter Estate, the second you make me feel wronged again, I can walk away whenever I want Are you sure you’re comfortable with such a lopsided agreement?”
Ralph looked at his wife, guilt written all over his face.
He said, “Virginia, I know our marriage started as a business arrangement, but we’re still husband and wife, and we still have feelings. The kids are grown–we can’t split this family up.”
Ralph went on, “All these years you’ve helped me build my network, run every detail of the household, give me my children, and you’ve put up with my bad temper and all my mistakes. I’m the one who owes you.”
Ralph handed one of the contracts to her. “I already got Dad’s shares from him and had him sign them over. As soon as Tyrone signs and the paperwork’s done, he’ll be Winter Group’s biggest shareholder. At Monday’s shareholders‘ meeting, I’ll appoint him CEO on the spot.”
Ralph walked over to Virginia and, more carefully than he ever had before, took her hand.
He pleaded, “For the kids‘ sake, come home.”
Virginia calmly pulled her hand back. “Once every transfer is complete and everything’s under my name, you and I will go pick up the divorce decree. After that, I’ll move back.”
She waved a hand, and Raine hurried to follow her mom out.

Chapter 580 Newly–Appointed CEO
Ralph caught Virginia by the arm. “Can’t you at east stay here and wait?”
Virginia shook her head. “No.”
Ralph turned to Tyrone and kept shooting him looks. “Tyrone, you’re really not going to say anything?”
Tyrone hesitated, then said, “There’s nothing to say.”
He was the one who’d first hit his limit with the suffocating atmosphere at home and urged his parents to divorce.
But once that was set in motion, he’d stayed out of what came after.
He’d already prepared himself for the worst.
What neither he nor his mother had expected was that his father would actually give in.
With Ralph’s cooperation, every part of the process moved quickly.
All of the assets were transferred into Virginia’s name.
Just one day later, the shares Edwin had signed over to Tyrone were officially processed.
On Monday, at Winter Group’s shareholders‘ meeting-
Tyrone was formally appointed CEO of Winter Group and shot to the top of every business news list.
He was too young and far too handsome; the coverage stayed hot for days, and overnight, he became the number–one target for every society heiress in town.
