Chapter 611 The Truth He Couldn’t Say
They’d only just gotten engaged, and Tyrone was already clingier than she was.

Tyrone stared at Aella, stunned, his dark eyes churning with something too deep to name. His throat bobbed as he swallowed. “I love you, Aella,” he said. “I’ve loved you for a long time.”
Since the moment two lives ago when he realized he’d lost her forever. That was when he’d known.
Aella’s smile widened–soft and happy–and Tyrone’s chest tightened until it hurt to breathe.
Would she still be smiling like that if he told her what he’d done before?
She should hate him the way she had in their previous lives together. But if he let her go now, he’d be betraying every promise he’d
made in this life.
She loved him this much. How could she survive that kind of cruelty?
He lowered his eyes, hiding the pain. Over and over, he asked himself what he was supposed to do.
They returned to Bluehaven.
Virginia and Ralph stopped by to check on them and provide some instructions before leaving. Aella called her parents and told them that she would go back to the Reids after Tyrone had recovered for a few days.
There was still time before school started, so she decided to take care of him for the time being.
After a shower, Tyrone came out of the bathroom. Aella was tidying up the business magazines by his bedside.
He slowed, towel in hand, and stood there watching her for a long time.
He’d waited two lifetimes. He’d guarded this home for two lifetimes. He’d dreamed of finding Aella again and bringing her back
here.
He’d imagined her in pajamas, moving around the bedroom and doing ordinary chores countless times. Now it was real. Yet he still couldn’t feel happy.
Aella turned and caught him staring. That same unease flickered again. She stood by the bed, watching him closely. “Tyrone, tell me the truth. Are you hiding something from me?”
He moved toward her as if each step weighed a ton. If he told her everything right now, what would happen to them?
The memory of his last life alone in this empty house, with loneliness clinging to him like a shadow, filled him with sudden, bottomless fear.
Tyrone bent slightly and took both of Aella’s hands. He looked into her eyes, his lips moving, but no sound came out.
