Chloe Reed watched her coolly, then suddenly turned her head toward a corner where she saw someone holding up a phone, taking pictures.
She walked straight over, her gaze sharp. "Taking my picture without my permission is a violation of my image rights. Do you want me to sue you?"
The man panicked. "I-I wasn’t taking a picture of you. I was taking one of myself."
"Oh, is that so?"
Chloe looked at him coldly. "If I see any videos online about what happened today, I’ll know you’re the one who posted them, and I will sue you. Don’t think I’m joking. I can hire an entire legal team to handle my case. I’ve got nothing but time."
She quirked her lips into a smile. "Besides, it looks like you all have plenty of free time. You should have time to get tied up in court with me, right?"
The expressions of everyone in the office changed.
The man who had been taking pictures was especially frantic. He was just an ordinary employee; how could he afford to waste time and money fighting her?
He suddenly remembered the relationship between Chloe Reed and Walker Grant.
Walker Grant had personally come to pick her up from work.
That was the President of the Grant Group!
And she had been giving him the cold shoulder, acting all disgruntled. Their relationship was clearly not ordinary!
The realization suddenly dawned on him.
He hurriedly unlocked his phone and showed it to her. "I’ll delete everything. I absolutely won’t post it. I apologize. I’m sorry."
He backed down quickly.
Seeing this, the expression of the person kneeling on the floor also changed.
Chloe’s gaze swept across the room, taking in everyone’s expression before finally landing on the girl kneeling on the floor. "Are you done kneeling? Can you move now?"
The girl’s face twisted with rage and humiliation.
If someone wanted to cause trouble, she wasn’t afraid. The worst that could happen was losing this job, and she had the means to walk away. But did they?
