Chapter 14: Chapter 14: How Could She Possibly Block Him

Nathaniel Monroe: "..."

He took a deep breath and said, "I’m sending you a screenshot of Chloe’s post. A lot of people in our circle have seen it. You should probably explain what’s going on."

After he hung up, a photo appeared in his chat window.

He opened it. It was Chloe Reed’s post.

Seeing the text she’d written and the picture she’d posted, Walker Grant’s sharp brows furrowed deeply.

The lines of his handsome face tightened, and a cold chill began to emanate from him.

"Walker, my sister has misunderstood us," Sunny Reed said, walking over with her phone. "Posting something like that will just make people laugh at us. I should go explain things to her."

A muscle in Walker Grant’s brow twitched violently.

Even Sunny Reed could see her post.

But he couldn’t.

’She blocked me?’

Walker Grant instinctively rejected the idea.

’There’s no way she would block me.’

’She loves me too much for that.’

He turned off his phone screen and said to Sunny Reed, "Take good care of Noah. Don’t let what happened last night happen again, or you can forget about raising him."

The color drained from Sunny Reed’s face. "I know. I was just too anxious. I thought I saw my... my biological father."

Walker Grant wasn’t concerned with her affairs.

He turned to Madam Grant and said, "Grandma, I’m leaving now."

"Noah still wants to play with you. Stay and keep him company for a little while longer," Madam Grant said, trying to convince him to stay.

But Walker Grant said coldly, "No TV and no toys for the rest of the day. Go practice your calligraphy."

Madam Grant froze. "Walker, what are you doing?"

Walker Grant’s dark, piercing eyes landed on Noah Grant’s small face. "He’s learned to lie. He needs to be punished." 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
