Our Anniversary, You Chose Her – I Chose Divorce novel Chapter 273

Chapter 273: Chapter 273: Saved Walker Grant Again?

Walker Grant frowned. "What are you talking about?"

Sunny Reed reached up to wipe away a tear, her expression stubborn. "You were the one who said you’d repay me. You pulled strings to help me start a company, so why did you all pull out just because Chloe told you not to? To keep Chloe from misunderstanding me again, I’ve even been avoiding her. Why are you still doing this to me?"

She continued her tirade, then burst into tears again.

Noah, in her arms, hugged her. "Mommy, don’t cry, don’t cry..."

Walker Grant’s tone was flat. "The Reed Group may have pulled its funding, but I haven’t. The company will be fine. There’s no need to cause such a scene."

But Sunny Reed just gave a bitter laugh. "She convinced your parents to pull their funding. How long until you do the same? Walker Grant, I don’t know why she insists on misunderstanding me, but I swear, I only ever loved your older brother, Julian Grant. If I ever betrayed him, may I die a horrible death!"

She sounded like a true victim, her every word an indictment of their cruelty.

She took a deep breath and said, "I don’t want to wait for that humiliating day to come. So, I’ll take Noah and leave. Is it not enough for me to just stay far, far away from you all?"

With that, she told the driver, "Drive. To the airport."

But the driver didn’t dare move. The car in front was blocking the way—how was he supposed to go anywhere?

Suddenly, Walker Grant walked over.

Sunny Reed grew tense. "Walker Grant, what are you doing?"

He pulled open the rear car door and snatched Noah Grant out.

"Mommy, Mommy!"

Noah Grant started to struggle, reaching his hands out toward Sunny Reed.

Walker Grant held him tight, his voice turning cold. "Noah Grant, do not cry!"

Noah shuddered, looking fearfully at his uncle.

Walker Grant then turned to Sunny Reed. "You want to leave? Fine. But Noah stays. He is my older brother’s son, and he belongs with the Grant family."

With that, he turned to leave.

"No! That’s my son! Give my son back to me!" Sunny Reed’s eyes widened in disbelief.

She scrambled out of the car and charged recklessly toward Walker Grant.
