Chapter 387: Chapter 387: Won’t Die for Now

"Okay, let’s go back," said Chloe Reed.

Daniel Hayes nodded and followed behind her.

...

Dylan Finch arrived at the hospital shortly after. Seeing Walker Grant’s pale face, he asked, "Mr. Grant, are you badly hurt?"

Walker Grant’s tone was flat. "I’m not dying anytime soon."

Dylan Finch couldn’t help but say, "But if this keeps up, you will be."

Walker Grant’s deep, cool eyes turned on him. "Are you looking forward to it?"

Dylan Finch chuckled. "No, no, just joking. I had my men catch one of them who didn’t get away. We checked his identity. He’s with The Osprey."

The Osprey was a notorious overseas mercenary organization.

They took on all sorts of missions.

As long as the price was right, they’d do anything.

Walker Grant’s eyes darkened. "Contact Lucas Shaw. Tell him to make sure The Osprey doesn’t accept any assassination contracts on Chloe Reed."

Dylan Finch nodded. "Yes, sir."

Then he added, "Mr. Shaw will probably make some outrageous demands again. Are you going to agree?"

Walker Grant closed his eyes. "Have him talk to me directly. I want to see what he could possibly demand."

Dylan Finch said, "Understood."

Walker Grant spoke again. "Who hired The Osprey? Who’s the client?"

Dylan Finch looked troubled. "Mr. Grant, we might not be able to find that out. It’s an ironclad rule. No one dares to reveal client information."

If they revealed client information, they’d be out of business.

But Walker Grant sneered. "Don’t they only care about money? Invite The Osprey’s leader to Breyburn."

"Will do."
