Chapter 535: Chapter 535: She Would Stop Loving Him

Nathaniel Monroe: "..."

Unbelievable!

Who would’ve thought they’d pull a ’hiding in plain sight’ move?

He grabbed the wedding shoe, knelt on one knee before Iris Yates, and put it on for her. Then, he offered her the bouquet.

"Darling, come home with me!"

This time, his shout was even louder than the last.

His eyes were sparkling, and a huge smile spread across his face as he stared intently at Iris Yates.

According to the plan, Iris Yates was supposed to take his bouquet and nod her assent.

But for some reason, seeing his incredibly bright eyes, the anticipation and joy within them didn’t seem fake.

Iris Yates suddenly grew apprehensive.

When the others saw her hesitate, they were all taken aback for a moment. Then, someone shouted playfully from the side, "The bride’s shy! Groom, shout it one more time!"

Nathaniel Monroe’s fingers tightened around the bouquet. He had a good idea of what Iris Yates was worried about.

’I’ve been too eager.’

’I have to keep my cool.’

"Darling, come home with me!"

He shouted it again, but this time, he reined in some of the emotion in his eyes so as not to scare her.

Chloe Reed gave Iris Yates a poke in the side. Only then did Iris take the bouquet from him, nodding with her gaze lowered.

Nathaniel Monroe immediately stepped forward and swept her up into his arms.

"Give her a kiss before you go!" someone shouted playfully.

But Nathaniel Monroe replied, "We’ll save the kiss for the ceremony. If you want to see it, you’d better all keep up!"

Carrying Iris Yates, he walked straight out of the room and all the way to the wedding car.

Chloe Reed came out behind them, where Walker Grant was waiting by the door. He looked at her and said, "Our wedding was much grander than this."

Chloe Reed gave him a cool glance. Seeing that no one else was around, she said, "You know full well this is fake."
