Chapter 127 Old Grudges
The female Beta sounded warm toward Yorland one second.
The next, her tone became shaded and slow.
“As for some people, well… hard to say.”
The room immediately filled with soft whispers.
“Tsk. So Master Tyrell and Master R’s feud finally reached the disciples.”
“Mainly because Master R never accepted a disciple before. Otherwise, this would’ve started ages ago.”
“Honestly, Master Tyrell has reason to be upset. Master Stuart, the father of imperial mecha engineering, promised he would take only Tyrell as his disciple. Then in his later years, he broke his own rule and accepted Master R.”
Everyone had kept their voices low.
To Julian, they might as well have spoken directly into his ear.
The blue-haired female Beta beside him frowned and whispered too.
“Morday is ridiculous. She wanted to become Master R’s disciple back then and got rejected. That has nothing to do with you. Why does she have to sound so nasty?”
Morday was the senior sister sitting beside Yorland.
The same female Beta who had just taken a dig at Julian.
She probably thought Julian had not heard Blair Frost because a management robot stood between them.
Then Julian raised his voice.
“Hey, Morday.”
Morday looked over.
“The person beside me asked me to ask you something. Isn’t this just because you tried to become my teacher’s disciple and got rejected? That wasn’t my fault. Why are you talking so nasty?”
Morday said nothing.

Blair, who had been sold out on the spot, also said nothing.
Before Morday could flare up, Blair stared at Julian in disbelief.
“Wait. I was speaking up for you. Why did you sell me out?”
Julian rested his chin on one hand.
“Didn’t you want to know? To repay you for teaching me how to write a will, I helped you ask immediately. You really don’t need to thank me.”
Blair said nothing.
Thank him?
For what?
And she had not taught him to write that ridiculous will.
Do not frame her.
Blair now wanted to strangle him.
But once Julian acted, he would never let only one person suffer.
He soon looked back at Morday.
“Looks like she doesn’t want to ask anymore. But I do. Why don’t both of you compromise? She can cover her ears, and you can tell me the answer directly.”
Morday said nothing.
Everyone said nothing.
At the same time, in another large conference room, everything happening in Julian’s room was being streamed onto a huge screen.
When Julian suggested Morday and Blair compromise, several gray-haired mecha engineering masters could not help laughing.
Master Byron Frost laughed the hardest.
He had not seen his sharp-tongued granddaughter Blair Frost get shut down like this in years.
And not only Blair.

Chapter 127 Old Grudges
Hadn’t that younger boy Landon Reed been defeated the same way?
“No wonder he became your final disciple.” Byron looked at R, eyes full of teasing. “This litt fellow really isn’t ordinary.”
If outsiders saw it, they might not believe their eyes.
R, the high and unreachable chief scientist of the White Tower and one of the empire’s top mecha engineering masters, was currently wearing a fluffy Maine Coon onesie.
When she yawned, she did not merely resemble Sir Waffles beside her.
There was basically no difference.
“Of course. Look whose disciple he is.”
R lifted the thermos beside her.
Dark circles hung under her eyes, and the thermos was filled with cola that had been brutally chilled with ice.
One sip.
She felt she could stay awake another eight hours.
Really.
“A sharp mouth alone is useless. A mecha engineer without real ability becomes a danger to everyone the moment he reaches the front.”
R was still trapped in the aftertaste of icy cola when Tyrell Adrian, her rigid senior disciple- brother who seemed to have his white coat welded onto him, spoke.
“How about this? I’ll have Janisa merge Julian into his group later. Then I’ll send Yorland and Morday over to help guide Julian and the rest of your students.”
