Outcast Omega Pampered by the Alpha General novel Chapter 210

Chapter 210 The Stab That Changed Everything

For one sharp instant, every Alpha in the room caught the insectoid’s dying screech.

Old Mr. Landry, the man with the blade buried in his chest, did not cry out.

Blood rushed from the wound. Pain hit so hard that sweat instantly gathered across his forehead, and h body began to shake despite every ounce of discipline he had left.

Then Dr. Serena Rhodes’s voice broke through the tense silence, bright with shock and relief

“He got it! The insectoid is no longer moving. Confirmed. No life signs detected.”

No one dared celebrate yet.

Julian did not pull the dagger free either.

If insectoid tissue came out clinging to the blade, it could contaminate the inside of the human body.

Caleb Hayes and Laurie Rick needed only one glance at each other before they moved. Together, they li Old Mr. Landry and transferred him into the medical pod with practiced speed.

Only after the doctors opened the wound did they understand what Julian had done.

The blade had not gone straight in.

The insectoid’s abdomen had been hidden beneath one of Old Mr. Landry’s ribs. A vertical stab would ha

struck bone first.

Of course, that dagger was sharp enough to cut metal and break insectoid armor. A rib probably would ne have stopped it.

But cutting through the rib would have caused far more pain.

Old Mr. Landry might have flinched.

Even if he had forced himself still, the injury would have been heavier than necessary

Julian’s angle had been precise.

The dagger slipped past the rib, reached the insectoid’s core, and destroyed it in a single blow

Dead on impact.

The doctors soon removed both the dagger and the insectoid’s corpse. After cleaning the wound, they activated the medical pod’s repair function.

A problem that had kept the Empire’s top officials trapped for nearly five days had been ended by Julian’s single stab.

Julian himself looked perfectly calm.

Back in the cultivation world, he had taken more lives than he could count. His heart had long since been

honed as cold and steady as the blade he carried.

“Anyone else?” he asked seriously. “Lie down quickly. I still have to make Orion’s birthday present I an busy.”

“Yes, yes, kid. I am lying down now.” Old Mr. Warren climbed into position without a trace of hesitatio “Stab me whenever you are ready. I promise I will not twitch.”

He did not care whether this young doctor spoke strangely.

He did not care whether Julian was hopelessly romance-brained.

A doctor who could save lives was a good doctor.

Julian was pleased with Old Mr. Warren’s cooperation.

So he walked over and stabbed the old man too.

This time, his movement was even quicker.

Cleaner.

There was no mystery to it.

Skill improved with repetition.

In less than ten minutes, all five patients had been stabbed.

And the only reason it took that long was because Zoya Vance had to arrange people, medical pods, and surgical teams around him.

If not for that, Julian would not have needed ten minutes.

He would have considered three minutes inefficient.

Old Mr. Landry was the first to wake up.

The wound Julian left had been narrow to begin with. After the doctors removed the blade professionally and the medical pod completed its repair, the old man opened his eyes feeling so alive that he immediatel tried to get up and run laps around the training field.

The doctor stopped him at once.

“You were parasitized for a long time. The danger has passed, but your body was badly drained. We also need to keep you under observation for possible aftereffects.”

That made sense, so Old Mr. Landry accepted it.

Soon, Old Mr. Warren and the others woke one by one. The large ward quickly filled with voices again.

An hour earlier, the room had been heavy with the smell of approaching death.

Now it was noisy enough to sound alive.

The five old soldiers even started cursing the people who had harmed them, saying those bastards deserv to be struck down by fate.

Old Mr. Landry and two of his old comrades had been infected because of Old Mr. Landry’s aide.

That aide had also turned out to be the highest-ranking cultist uncovered in the Second and Third Legjor screening.

But he had clearly expected exposure. Before anyone could interrogate him, he killed himself out of guilt and fear.

The leads that followed all came from Rowan’s investigation.

“It was that drinking session,” one of the old men cursed. “That drink really did us three in.”

“No kidding.”

“Looks like we actually have to quit drinking this time.”

The remaining two cases involved family members.

The grief behind that was too tangled to put into easy words.

Julian did not stay to listen.

After finishing all five stabs, he carried Ruin back to his own ward and returned to his design drawing.

He worked until evening.

Then a large hand settled on his head and rubbed gently.

Julian narrowed his eyes in comfort.

“What does Julian want to give me?”

Orion stood beside the bed. His shoulders were broad, his waist narrow, his posture straight and composed.

A smile warmed his deep, handsome eyes. The sharpness he showed the rest of the world had been put away, leaving only the cool gentleness he saved for Julian.

Julian looked up at him and answered honestly, “Probably a mecha

Orion’s fingers combed through Julian’s soft hair. His voice carried rare curiosity.

“Why a mecha?”

“Because mechas fit Alphas.”

Julian lowered his gaze and added several more lines to the drawing. Then he explained with very serious logic, “Other Alphas have mechas. You should have one too.”

“How does Julian know I do not have one?”

Orion leaned down slightly. His thumb brushed the skin near the corner of Julian’s eye.

Maybe Orion’s thumb had brushed too lightly near his eye, because Julian Shaw blinked as if it tickled before he answered.

“I do not know. But you do not have a mecha made by me.”

“You really…”

Orion pressed a little harder with his fingertip. In seconds, he had rubbed the thin skin at the corner of the Omega’s eye faintly red.

They had only been apart for a few days, yet Julian looked prettier than before.

Even the way he spoke had become more adorable.

Orion was helpless against him.

He admitted it.

He was helplessly, completely gone over Julian.

“Julian.”

“Mm?”

Julian had already lowered his head to keep drawing. When Orion called him, he looked up again. confusion clear in his eyes.

Had he said something wrong?

Or did Orion not like the gift?

How could he not like it?

The stubborn little thing was about to force Orion to say he liked it when a kiss suddenly landed on his lips and shattered every thought in his head.

It was brief.

Orion meant to pull away.

Then Julian sat there looking dazed, and he was so cute that Orion leaned in again.

His large hand found the back of Julian’s slender neck with familiar case. Orion brushed the tip of his nose against the Omega’s cheek and copied the tone Julian had used on him that might

“Julian, open your mouth.”

Julian pressed his lips together.

His long lashes trembled. The entire Omega looked a little unsteady.

Still, as if something had possessed him, he opened his mouth.

Orion had gotten what he wanted.

He held Julian by the back of the neck and kissed him again, this time with far less restraint.

“I like Julian’s gift very much.”

Orion had not returned this time for anything else. He had come back to observe Old Mr. Landry and the others further.

Most deeply parasitized Betas were legion soldiers. Since the Empire had found a way to treat them, there was no reason to sit around and wait.

So Orion temporarily handed early-stage parasite screening over to headquarters and Dr. R’s team, while he returned to Moonfall to oversee treatment himself.

After confirming over and over that Old Mr. Landry and the others had recovered, Orion sent a military notice to all seven legions that night, ordering them to transfer deeply parasitized Betas to Moonfall immediately.

Plenty of people tried probing him during that time, hoping he would directly disclose the treatment method for the benefit of the entire military.

Orion’s answer remained the same.

The method came from one person’s unique skill.

It could not be mass-produced.

Harper Sloane went off in the strategic channel immediately.

“Take the treatment or get lost. The Sixth Legion’s people are already on their way. Orion, you had better give this everything you’ve got.”
