Outcast Omega Pampered by the Alpha General
Chapter 223 Under the Silver Light
They were willing to believe again.
They wanted to live.
At the same time, inside the modular field hospital’s command center, Dr. R, Dr. Thorne, and the research teams under them were running final calibrations at top speed.
This was the last test before treatment began.
Long before this moment, from the first private meeting between Orion, Dr. R, and Dr. Thorne, the three of them had reached the worst possible conclusion.
The number of parasitized people would inevitably crush the Omega treatment system.
The biological removal device alone could not solve this crisis.
So Dr. R had handed the modification and upgrade of the device to her senior colleague, Dr. Tyrell.
She and Dr. Thorne, meanwhile, secretly followed the vanguard units of the Second and Third Legions and reached Modoka before anyone else.
Soldiers and spirit forms worked together.
In half a month, they built more than a hundred massive modular wards.
Then came the true core of the plan.
An intelligent multimodal precision surgical platform built from high–speed laser cutters, mechanical grasping claws, laser incinerators, and biotherapy units.
It made simultaneous surgery for 60,000 people possible.
And now, 60,000 volunteers were gathering on that intelligent surgical platform in organized waves.
They were waiting for the collective procedure to begin.
In front of the platform’s holographic projection stood Julian.
He wore a crisp white coat.
A few strands of black hair stuck up in open rebellion, making his expressionless little face look unexpectedly obedient.
Fair, exquisite features.
Clear catlike eyes.
Every researcher who saw him reached nearly the same conclusion.
What a beautiful child.

What a brilliant child.
Then the beautiful child tilted his head, leaned against the outer cover of the holographic projection. opened his eyes wide, and stared intently at the image inside.
The researchers: “…”
Why did he suddenly look less brilliant?
Right now, reflected in Julian’s eyes, there was only a wash of silver.
Dazzling.
Radiant.
Extremely pleasing to him.
“Warning. All volunteers, please proceed onto the surgical tables immediately. Repeat. Please proceed c the surgical tables immediately.”
On the intelligent platform, Talia and the other volunteers followed Modo’s instructions and stood in o before the operating tables.
Before they entered the platform, they had already been separated into male and female groups to biological sex.

So when they lay down on the arched surgical tables, removed the extra clothing as instructed, and positioned their navels at the highest point, no one wasted time feeling embarrassed.
Everything happened fast.
Because from the moment they volunteered and assembled in the central square. Adrian, as the officer in charge, had drilled the rules into them again and again.
First, obey every command from the central AI without question.
Second, adjust your posture until your surgical table turns green.
Third, do not panic. Do not shout. Do not stall. Breaking any rulé could cost you your lite.
Fourth, move fast.
As fast as humanly possible.
Talia repeated those rules in her mind.
Roughly ten minutes later, she and everyone else lying on the tables felt the enormous platform beneath them rise with smooth precision.
The giant alloy panels opened.
Modoka’s dark yellow sky appeared above them.
Sandstorms raged.

Wind roared.
This barren planet was hell.
Yet not one grain of sand touched the platform.
Resonance anchors had risen from the ground one after another.
Beside each anchor stood a massive spirit form and its owner.
Together, they released powerful psychic force and formed a joint shield, holding up an impossibly c sky above the volunteers.
“Warning. The Heart of Silver Radiance will be released shortly. All Alpha spirit forms, prepare.”
“Warning. Surgery will begin shortly. All patients, stabilize your emotions.”
Under the yellow sky, within the howling sand, Modo’s cold voice continued.
Then the silver star rose.
It hung high outside the psychic shield.
Brilliant star mist curled around it. Silver markings flowed over its surface like mother–of–pearl.
Layer after layer of silver light spread outward, striking the psychic shield as violent high–energy shockwaves.
Almost the same instant those waves hit the shield, the restraints on Talia’s wrists and ankles locked.
The Alpha psychic shield blocked, weakened, and filtered the silver radiance before letting it fall.
Talia felt something move near her navel.
The insectoid inside her had awakened.
Because the arched surgical table deliberately lifted the abdomen, to the highest point, the skin around hei navel began to rise.
The larva wanted that silver light.
Its instinct was dragging it upward.
“Adjust surgical table height. Align all laser cutting lines.”
Inside the command room, Dr. R’s voice stayed frighteningly calm.
Data roared across her digital glasses.
Finally, her red lips parted.
“Three–second countdown.”
