Chapter 255 Overwhelm It With Power

Then Orion heard Julian say, “I left out a few titles. You are also the kindergarten principal, the grand spiritual mentor, and the king of painting dreams for the Second and Third Legions.”
Orion: “…”
He was not.
He had not.
Once Orion was once again kicked out of the conversation, Julian finally spoke seriously.
i
“Why are all of you acting like the funeral already started? I only said I cannot cure him completely right now. I never said I cannot treat him.”
Everyone: “!”
“And even if there really were no treatment, I could still refine Ghost Orion a little. Then if he died, he would not be fully dead. His body would be gone, but his soul could stay.”
Everyone: “?”
The entire room answered in one voice.
“Option one! We choose option one!”
Julian blinked. “What is wrong with option two?”
The answer came just as neatly.
“Everything!”
Julian: “?”
He thought option two was perfectly reasonable.
Still, as a responsible sect master, he respected the opinions of his disciples.
After a moment, he said, “Fine. Then we overwhelm it with quantity.”
“Quantity?”
Orion watched him, clearly curious about what strange plan this Omega had produced now.
Julian refused to meet his eyes. Under Orion’s gaze, he turned his head and glared at the wolf cub with obvious resentment.
“I will use external energy to fill my healing-type psychic power as much as possible, then pour it into Orion in one heavy power infusion. He will use that force to repair the consciousness field outside the barrier first. The outer field will restrain the broken inner field, which should keep the entire
consciousness field stable for a long time.”

Dr. Quill’s eyes almost glowed.
The glow lasted exactly one second before practical concern returned
“How do we fill your healing-type psychic power that quickly?”
“Prepare enough insectoid cores. Then take me back to Cloudglow Prime. I have my own method.”
Julian had no intention of explaining cultivation theory to a room full of people who would not understand it.
He knew what he was doing.
That was enough.
“How certain are you?” Rowan asked.
His excitement was obvious.
If Orion did not need to enter dormancy, the Second and Third Legions would move much faster.
After this growth period, how strong could they become?
Rowan did not dare picture it too clearly.
But surpassing their old peak was almost guaranteed.
“No idea.”
Julian lifted the weak cub from the bed and smoothed the fur on its head.
“Borrowed power is still borrowed. It is like reinforcements on a battlefield. If the commander cannot use them properly, it does not matter how many arrive.”
Rowan understood.
So in the end, it depended on Orion himself.
Everyone turned toward Orion and waited for his answer.
Orion gave one.
“We do it Julian’s way.”

Once the plan was set, Old Mr. Landry immediately checked storage and pulled out the best batch of S- rank insectoid cores.
That night, Julian took Orion back to Cloudglow Prime.
They passed through ink-wash mountains and rivers and returned to the blessed sanctuary Orion had repaired not long after gifting the planet to him.

Dark teal, moon-white, and amber mist drifted there day and night.

Pavilions and towers hid among the scenery. Immortal waterfalls fell beside solitary gazebos. Cloud seas rolled. Green peaks scattered like brushstrokes.
The next day, Julian carved an array on an isolated stone platform.
Batch after batch of S-rank insectoid cores was poured into it.
“Not enough.”
Two more batches of S-rank cores turned to dust inside the array.
“Continue.”
Another three batches flowed in like water.
The array swallowed the

and grew brighter.
Only after more than half of New Moonfall’s entire supply had been fed into the array did Julian’s small formation finally show signs of saturation.
And almost every core used had been S-rank or higher.
Their quality was far beyond the cores that powered New Moonfall.
“Our Little Mast really tells the truth,” Caleb muttered. “When he says quantity, he means quantity. Old Mr. Landry’s S-rank stockpile from all these years is probably empty now.”
“Not probably,” Rowan said with a smile. “It is empty. The final batch was borrowed from the White Tower. We will have to pay it back later.”
What was this called?
A thousand days of gathering firewood, gone in one burn.
Back to zero overnight.

Honestly, they were already looking forward to Prince Harold’s next attempt to get himself killed.
Ideally, he would drag the council and nobles along with him, giving the Second and Third Legions another chance to strike it rich.
Whatever crooked plan Rowan was forming in his head, once Julian confirmed the array had absorbed enough energy, all unrelated personnel were ordered onto a starship and sent away from Cloudglow
Prime.
After Rowan and the others left, Julian stared fiercely at Orion, whose face had gone pale.
“You had better succeed in one try. If you fail, I will immediately use option two and refine you into Ghost Orion. When that happens, you can scream until your voice breaks. No one will come save you.”

Orion:
“Understood.”
He stepped closer and gently rubbed Julian’s fluffy hair.
“If I fail, I will become Ghost Orion and haunt you every day. You will not escape me for the rest of your life.”
Julian: “?”
“Bold. Is that how you talk to your master?”
Orion laughed softly.
Then he pulled Julian into his arms and stroked the back of his head in comfort.
“Not taking care of myself was my fault. Making Julian worry was also my fault. So will Master Julian forgive this little Ghost Orion?”
