Outcast Omega Pampered by the Alpha General novel Chapter 335

Chapter 335 The Hidden Lab

Was that not absurd?

That proved one thing.

These insectoids probably had not come because they wanted this low-grade barren planet as food.

They had come because something on the planet needed to disappear.

Once the planet vanished, everything on it would vanish too.

Finishin

Maybe someone would say the Empire could barely protect itself right now. Who would have time to investigate a barren planet?

But what if humanity survived long enough to catch its breath?

What if Julian was reported dead here?

The enemy’s caution was obvious.

But what was such a cautious opponent trying so hard to hide?

Thinking this, Julian withdrew his divine sense from the hellhead wasp.

Then he expanded it across Acheros again and began a carpet search.

At last…

on a planet where 99.9 percent of the surface was crimson alkaline desert, abandoned colonial mines, crashed ship wreckage, and weathered metal ruins, Julian found an incredibly small oasis.

Or perhaps it was not an oasis.

It was more like a patch of moss.

Ghost blue.

Dark purple.

Fluorescent green.

The trunks were hollow, and the vines had strange tiny teeth. They crawled quietly, looking less like plants and more like alien organisms.

There was insectoid presence in them.

Julian frowned.

With that “oasis” as the center, his divine sense began a second carpet search.

It slipped into the soil with the wind.

Chapter 335 The Hidden Lab

Downward.

Probing.

Analyzing.

Finally, southeast of that strange oasis, Julian found an even stranger cluster of buildings.

Laboratory buildings.

Cold mechanical technology.

No trace of daily life.

All kinds of cutting-edge biological research equipment.

Research zones arranged with rigid logic.

Fing bied

Based on scattered data inside the buildings, supercomputers that had not fully shut down, and even cafeteria food that had only recently begun to rot, Julian concluded that the people here had not evacuated long ago.

He scanned the files too.

No problem.

But if there was no problem, why hide the place this deep?

Combined with the sudden insectoid attack, there had to be something wrong.

So he searched again.

This time, Julian searched with the intensity he used when hunting treasure in a secret tomb.

He forced his way into ordinary-looking places that might hide secret passages.

And sure enough, he found one.

After the passage extended downward by roughly a dozen stories…

he saw a place completely different from the labs above.

It was an abstract structure created from insectoid exoskeleton armor plates, flesh, and metal fused in symbiosis.

It seemed able to block psychic fluctuations, life signals, and technological scans.

Julian guessed it must have borrowed some insectoid characteristics.

Anyone else who saw this would probably have been frozen colt by fear

Julian only withdrew his divine sense calmly and gripped his spiritual swort again

Using humans for experiments.

Building the laboratory inside human-controlled star zones.

Layering multiple protective systems specifically against humanity, exsang detention methods

This could not be the insectoids’ work.

Only human traitors could have done it.

Finished

On Acheros, those traitors had joined the insectoids to conduct illegal experiments involving human- insectoid symbiosis, fusion, incubation, and transformation.

When Acheros was at risk of exposure, and when the experimental subjects inside were all failed, consumables, they chose without hesitation to destroy the entire place.

Acheros’s destruction had already become inevitable.

And the insectoids and traitors had likely used this method more than once.

But they had miscalculated one thing.

Julian Shaw.

Whether humanity could discover the lab, use it to expose the traitors, or even find a key to defeating the insectoids…

none of that mattered most to the rogue cultivator.

The rogue cultivator’s demand was simple.

Two words.

Stay alive.
