Chapter 463 The Wrong Guests
Now, however…

Johnny was more interested in learning what would happen to Caspar Holt before Caspar ever had the opportunity to kill him.
“Mr. Holt, I’m back.”
Johnny drew a deep breath and knocked on the private suite door.
Molten flame patterns rolled across an agate floor. Every gold-trimmed line reflected the crystal chandeliers with the warm gleam of honeyed wine.
Several Omegas, led by Lina and Perry Kardell, laughed sweetly.
Some stood beneath a golden apple tree and tipped back their heads to catch drifting flakes of gold, their skirts spreading like flowers in bloom.
Others reclined inside a glass pavilion wrapped in translucent gauze. Gold chains circled their wrists, and tiny bells at their ankles chimed softly with each breath.
Golden light.
Laughter.
Perfume.
The room overflowed with wealth, beauty, and intoxicating excess.
The other concierge had told the truth. Johnny had barely led Julian and the others through the door when one of Caspar’s Alphas punched him to the floor.
‘So you remembered how to come back? We thought you died out there.”
The Alpha laughed with open contempt.
Instead of frightening the Omegas in the suite, the blow drew a chorus of bell-like laughter.
‘Bring them here,” Caspar ordered.
He did not spare Johnny, who remained sprawled on the floor, even one glance.
The subordinate immediately looked beyond him. Between three tall Alphas, his eyes found Julian and Helen with perfect accuracy.
Who allowed you inside?”
Only then did he realize that the idiot Johnny had brought three security guards into the room.
What kind of place did they think this was?
Chapter 468 The Wrong Guests
Did low-ranking Alphas truly believe they belonged here?
The man strode forward and swung a fist at the lead guard’s face.
His punch never landed.
The guard’s fist arrived first and shattered the man’s left cheekbone.
“Ah:”
When the Alpha collapsed, Lina, who had been dancing nearby, released a sharp scream and did everything possible to appear fragile and helpless.
That performance would allow her to run toward Caspar, curl against him like a delicate flower, and receive the comfort she wanted.
She immediately attempted exactly that.
Lina managed two steps.
Then she hit the floor with a heavy thud. Her long hair spilled across her face until she looked like a disgraced court beauty driven mad in an abandoned palace wing.
Still stunned by the fall, Lina turned around.
Julian stood there as though nothing had happened, one foot resting squarely on her custom evening gown.
When Lina stared at him, Julian moved his foot twice more.
He stepped openly.
Carefully.
Evenly.
Lina: “…”
Do you have any manners?
As one of the Empire’s leading socialites, Lina could not endure such humiliation. The instant her gaze met Julian’s, she sentenced him to death inside her head.
Across the suite, Caspar had been sitting on a couch and speaking with his friend Bethel Watson. Only now did he fully register what was happening.
A brilliant smile rose across Caspar’s face.
It was not mockery.
He was genuinely delighted.
“Bethel, did you see that? It isn’t that I’m unwilling to be generous. They chose this themselves.

Caspar turned toward Bethel Watson.
Bethel carried the polished air of an old-world aristocrat. His hair curled in deep russet waves, and his pale violet eyes looked almost translucent.
He was Visser Watson’s grandson and the son of the late Lieutenant General Prynn Watson. That lineage had finally earned him some standing within the family.
It had not always been enough.
Bethel had once been only S-rank. Beside Harold, another grandson of the family, and beside Bethel’s own father, who had died in battle, he had seemed painfully inadequate.
Things had changed.
His grandfather promised that if Bethel completed this procurement mission, he would receive an opportunity to advance to 2S-class after returning home.
Then…
Bethel would become the Watson family’s legitimate heir. He would inherit not only its wealth, but also the reputation his father had left behind.
The prospect of a future almost as dazzling as Orion Ashford’s blinded him completely.
Everyone wanted to become Orion.
