Outcast Omega Pampered by the Alpha General novel Chapter 476

“So handsome.”

Adrian Whitmore, standing guard beside Julian, gave the boy a surprised look. Apparently, his little brother really did treat Rowan differently.

Then another thought occurred to him. What if this somehow reached Orion’s ears and Rowan ended up suffering the same fate as Caleb Hayes?

Out of brotherly concern, Adrian reminded him, “Julian, you can’t call another Alpha handsome. Orion will get upset…”

Julian tilted his head.

He wanted to say he had not praised another Alpha at all.

Adrian cleared his throat twice. His tone remained solemn, but expectation shone plainly in his eyes.

“Of course, I’m the exception. If you call me handsome, I don’t think Orion will mind.”

Julian: “…”

What a transparent little scheme.

He nearly blurted out, “Beg me.” Then he remembered the lunatic Yuzuki Blackwell and the Adrian was hopelessly obsessed with his younger brother.

“Next time. Definitely.”

Adrian: “…”

I should’ve let Rowan carry Julian up and stayed below to deal with the trash myself.

What a miscalculation.

Down in the pit, Rowan had remained behind to let the other soldiers climb first and keep the crowd under control. The corner of his mouth lifted slightly, though no one knew what he was thinking.

Alpha hearing was practically cheating.

Once Rowan and the remaining soldiers emerged, the nobles and socialites below finally began climbing out one by one under armed supervision, their heads lowered.

A few tried to shove forward again. Energy blasts striking the ground beside their feet sent them scrambling back.

Everything happening around them made one fact brutally clear.

At that moment, they were not nobles or celebrities.

They were prisoners.

Aside from several unlucky people who had run too slowly, most of those still trapped below were not even Neon Mirage’s moskimportant guests. The people with real influence and power had already escaped.

Of course…

Some particularly unfortunate clients might have reached the first level at the same moment as the dark- patterned scale-spine centipedes and died there immediately.

“That was exactly what I thought. Don’t worry. I stationed soldiers outside and had every one of them

arrested.”

On the surface, General Marston grinned. He had fully embraced the school of dirty tricks and graduated at the top of the class.

Seeing the crowd packed shoulder to shoulder below, the soldiers lowered more than a dozen additional ladders so everyone could climb out faster.

While the elites scrambled upward, the dark-patterned scale-spine centipedes became strangely quiet.

More precisely…

They went quiet after Marston appeared.

Emberwing had already pulled one from the building and torn out its core. The remaining for that they might have died.

Anything that abnormal had to be hiding trouble.

As Rowan and the others tried to understand what had happened, the ground began shaking again.

“I-it’s happening again! Oh God, help us…”

“Move faster up front! If those of us waiting back here die, we’ll haunt every one of you!”

“I never should’ve come to this dump on Liberty Star!”

More and more people began shouting that they should never have come.

Only then did everyone realize the truth

This time, Neon Mirage was not the only thing trembling.

The entire planet was shaking.

“Have those bugs lost their minds? Are they hollowing out the whole planet so they can destroy it completely?”

Prince Harold Mulholland sounded genuinely stunned.

Insectoids did consume planets from within, but Liberty Star held plenty of Onegas. Why were the centipedes ignoring them?

Why had they targeted only Julian and Heien?

Did that make any sense?

“That is exactly what proves they’ve become intelligent.”

Rowan summoned a starship and immediately took Julian and the others aboard, ensuring their safety.

Marston and Adrian had already led troops into their mecha, released their spirit forms, and begun guarding the surrounding area.

“How is that intelligent? If they destroy the planet, they’ll lose every hiding place they have. The moment the planet breaks apart, we can wipe them all out!”

Harold presented his theory with complete confidence. To him, the logic was flawless.

In Orion’s presence, Harold rarely dared express himself so freely.

He felt inferior.
