Chapter 479 A Lotus in the Stars
The small dome shields aayed at the one moment. Hundreds upon hundreds of lotus boots sharan upward.
Countless people stood on the petals and wared through the shields at a horizon spilung apart, lava erupting into the sky, tourlamis sweeping across the surface, and the planet disintegrating beneath them
They rose farther and farther away
Finally…
The lotus boats joined into a sea of stars. In the endless darkness of the cosmos, they revolved slowly around Alkaid’s lotus throne.
At last, all of them met inside the enormous outer shield and formed one gigantic sky-blue lotus.
Footage of the rescue reached StarNet almost immediately.
Imperial satellite cameras had recorded everything.
High-definition. No watermark. Dreamlike beyond words.
Language felt useless before such a sight. Across StarNet, citizens spammed one message until it covered every screen.
[#His Grace Is F*cking Incredible#]
“This is insane. You’re absolutely incredible…”
‘How did you do it? We’re both using flowers, so why can you split yours into so many pieces?”
Helen stared at Julian so intensely that his sapphire eyes practically glowed green with envy. Harold watched from beside him and became equally jealous.
‘Is that difficult?” Julian asked without expression.
‘How could it not be difficult?”
Helen began questioning his entire life.
Then Julian answered, “It isn’t.”
Disbelief covered Helen’s face. His eyes practically shouted, Are you messing with me?
Julian clarified with rigorous seriousness.
“All you need is hands.”
Helens “…”
Sering his darling on the verge of tears, Harold hurried to defend him.

“How could that possibly be true? I can’t do it.”
Julian nodded solemnly. For once, he sounded genuinely approving.
“Exactly.”
Harold: “…”
Could you reduce the damage aimed at me? Just a little?
Clearly not.
While Julian destroyed Helen’s and Harold’s confidence, the four dark-patterned scale-spine centipedes and several red scale-spine centipedes that had escaped the underground laboratory finally revealed
themselves.
‘I’ve been waiting for you.”
Marston smiled coldly.
The creatures were clever. No matter how clever they became, once Liberty Star broke apart, none could escape the pursuit of his golden roc.
‘Screee!”
Emberwing attacked first, snatching up one dark-patterned centipede after another. Adrian and the other fighters followed immediately.
‘You were right. Both species are still underdeveloped, and their strength is noticeably incomplete.”
Aboard the Rimeblade, Dr. Thorne stood with his team and Evan Grant, studying the centipedes with the detached precision of scientists examining a new species.
These new insectoids were clearly more intelligent than the older breeds, but they possessed very few offensive methods.
The reason they hid, hollowed out planets, and used the resulting chaos to relocate was obvious.
Their strength was unstable.
They did not dare confront humanity directly.
Did that make them weak?
No.
Even an immature dark-patterned scale-spine centipede had managed to suppress Harold’s thunder lion.
Dr. Thorne drew a deep breath.
“If they reach full maturity, they may surpass the original 2S-class insectoids. Our spirit forms evolved, but the bugs haven’t been sitting still either.”

With Emberwing present, the rentipedes had no chance to create further trouble.
Liberty Star had already collapsed. Its fragments were gathered and destroyed in a controlled operation so they could not strike neighboring worlds.
Aside from the loss of the planet itself, there were no additional major losses.
The Solara System was vast. Losing a planet was tragic, but it would not destabilize the entire Empire.
‘Relocate the permanent residents to nearby worlds. Arrange transport home for the tourists. Anyone involved in black-market or gray-market activity, whether noble, celebrity, or ordinary citizen, will be held under house arrest and investigated.”
