Practicing Medical Skills in a Small Clinic novel Chapter 774

Chapter 774: Chapter 360: Buying a Bike, Saying Hello_2

Li Jingsheng said earnestly.

"Really? Your clinic income is quite good now, and your salary isn’t low either, so why not buy a car? If you don’t have enough money, I can sponsor a bit."

Having a rich girlfriend really solves the worries of cars and houses.

She didn’t know that Li Jingsheng was making several tens of thousands a day now, and could afford not just a Mercedes or BMW, but even more expensive luxury cars.

"I’m thinking that money is needed everywhere these days, so we can save a little where we can. Buying a bicycle not only makes parking convenient but also keeps me in shape. Moreover, as the ancients say, diligence refines the body, thrift cultivates virtue. There’s no harm in being a bit frugal."

He explained his reasoning for buying a bicycle.

Right now, he had to save up money to acquire the yard at the clinic.

After sorting that out, he would need to upgrade some of the clinic’s medical equipment and save money to marry Ou Qinglan.

However, the largest current expense was purchasing the two clinic buildings.

Even though Dean Fu and Director Hua had said they would lend him money, it would be best to solve it himself.

"Alright then, a husband’s duty is to lead, and a wife’s duty is to support. You’ll be the head of the family in the future, so you make the decisions, and I’ll quietly support you from behind."

She readily agreed with Li Jingsheng’s idea of buying a bicycle.

"With a wife like this, what more could a husband ask for! Let’s go, let’s head over now; the shop might still be open."

Li Jingsheng hugged her, and they quickened their pace.

"Buying it now?"

"Of course!"

Li Jingsheng had checked the map while eating, and there were two bicycle shops nearby.

Luckily, the shops hadn’t closed yet.

In the end, he bought a Forever brand bicycle, a very ordinary one, with a rear seat.

The price was a bit over four hundred, less than five hundred yuan.

"Qinglan, hop on!"

"Alright! I haven’t ridden a bicycle since I was a kid, don’t pedal too fast!"

She was as happy as a little girl, sitting on the back, holding onto Li Jingsheng’s waist.

Cycling was noticeably faster than walking.

Li Jingsheng hadn’t exercised for a while, panting and a bit wobbly on his feet.

He brought her straight back to the clinic.

"Boss, why are you riding a bicycle?"

Xiang Cangsong, dutifully guarding the gate, widened his eyes upon seeing Li Jingsheng return on a bicycle.

When he saw the pretty girl on the back seat, he thought to himself, "The boss is something else; even riding a bicycle, he can attract such a beautiful girl."

"Riding a bicycle is great, it also keeps you fit."

Li Jingsheng rode into the clinic’s courtyard and parked his bike outside the office.

"I need to buy a lock tomorrow, wouldn’t want a thief snatching it."
