Chapter 471
The host scrambled to defend himself, “No, that’s not…
But Victoria ignored him completely. She turned straight to the camera and flashed the evidence. “Here are the receipts. proof that a top exec at Star Avenue has been gunning for Chasing the Dream. See for yourselves.”
The livestream exploded, and the host looked like he’d seen a ghost.
Victoria stared into the camera and added, “These receipts might not get you thrown in jail, but trust me, you can kiss your career in this industry goodbye.”
[Finally, some karma! All those people who kept screaming it was just a script, where are you now, huh? Cat got your tongue?]
[And those paid fake fans got exposed too. Now they can enjoy their social death.]

Meanwhile, as Jackson watched Victoria’s livestream, he instructed Ollie, “Take care of it. Give those people on the production team who targeted Vickie a little lesson, they need to know not to mess with her.”
Ollie nodded. “Yes, sir.”
After the show, Star Avenue didn’t last long. They disbanded almost overnight just like what happened to Gale Entertainment back then.
As for the scheming exec stirring up trouble behind the scenes, rumor said he got what was coming. The other higher-ups and shareholders took turns getting revenge, ruined him, and left him with nothing till he had to leave Benwig City in shame.
When Chasing the Dream officially premiered, its reputation spread like wildfire. Even the haters were won over, and it hooked a whole new crowd of casual viewers. The ratings smashed every record, making it the number one show in TV history.
After that, Brightstar Entertainment kept rolling out top-notch, binge-worthy shows, totally changing the game and putting an end to the years of shoddy, star-driven productions that had plagued the industry.
Those companies that used to rake in cash with just a few influencers suddenly found themselves outmatched by Brighista They had no choice but to step up, polish their scripts, and actually invest in real acting talent if they wanted to survive.
Fans couldn’t help but cheer.
[Finally! No more eye-burning dramas, local shows are actually watchable now.]
[But seriously, are we really not gonna get Victoria and Jackson on a couple’s reality show or something?)
[Yes! I need to see them flirting with each other, I’m dying for it!]
The calls for Victoria and Jackson to star in a couple’s reality show just kept getting louder.
Finally, Victoria posted on X: [A couple’s reality show? Not happening. But maybe I’ll let my husband auction fr l’he Varce with a song I wrote just for him, of course l
The responds were explosive.
[Queen, you’re such a savage!!

Chapter 472
“Honey, what song do you want to hear tonight?” Ever since they got back from their honeymoon, Jackson would sing Victoria a so-called lullaby every night before bed.
Even though his singing wasn’t exactly great, Victoria was more than happy to spoil him.
So tonight she’d pick one, tomorrow night another, and the night after that, yet another.
Every night, it was something new.
When Jackson asked, Greenie, who had been watching a tablet, immediately lifted its head and shot him an annoyed look.
If it could talk, it would really want to ask him, “Are you seriously clueless about how you sound when you sing?”
Unfortunately, it couldn’t speak, so it could only put up with the suffering in silence.
It really couldn’t figure out why its owner actually seemed to enjoy it.
Victoria thought for a moment. “How about ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ tonight?”
Jackson asked, “That one?”
Victoria nodded. “Yeah, can you do it?”
Jackson grinned confidently. “Of course, no problem.”
As soon as Jackson started singing, Greenie really wished it were a lizard. At least then it could cover its ears with its limbs.
Before, it was just pure noise pollution. Now, it was somehow even harder on the ears.
If it had to keep listening, Greenie felt like it wouldn’t survive much longer as a snake.
No wonder Blackie and Whitey decided to abandon ship the very first night Jackson started singing.
So, Greenie made up its mind. Just like Blackie and Whitey, it was heading to the next room to rest, never going to hang out with that tone-deaf guy again.
Victoria was getting sleepy, listening to Jackson sing, when she saw Greenie heading out. She yawned and asked. “Greeme where are you going?”
Greenie turned back, glared at her, then pointed at the wall with its tail.
Victoria let out an “Oh,” and said, “So you’re going to sleep next door?”
As soon as he heard that, Jackson jumped out of bed, didn’t even bother with his shoes, and rushed to open the door for Greenie, holding out his hand with exaggerated courtesy and a big smile. “Your Majesty Greenie, please.”
Greenie shot him a nasty hiss.
Now it understood, Jackson was totally singing every night on purpose, just to get rid of it so he could have Victon all to
himself.
What a sneaky fake nice guy! Hmph! After grumbling to itself, Greeme slipped ouĖ,

Chapter 472
Jackson closed the door and jumped onto the bed with Victoria. “Now there’s no snake to bother us
Victoria instantly lost all her sleepiness, wrapped her arms around his neck, and teased, “What, you can’t get in the mood with Greenie around?”
Jackson replied, “If it were just any snake, that’d be fine, but Greenie’s something else.”
