"Tang Jun, you’re not that stingy, are you? You’re not really going to take back what you gave away?"
Yuan Yu held the clay doll protectively in her arms, afraid that Tang Jun would snatch it back.
Tang Jun: "I won’t snatch it."
After speaking, Tang Jun added, "I can’t see with my eyes, even if I wanted to snatch it, I couldn’t beat you."
Yuan Yu glanced at his eyes, only then remembering that Tang Jun was blind. Even if he truly wanted to snatch it, he couldn’t beat her. As long as she ran far, he couldn’t catch up.
"You saved me before, so consider this a thank you gift." Tang Jun reiterated.
Yuan Yu twitched her lips and said, "You don’t still remember that night on the mountain half a year ago, do you?"
"Yes."
Tang Jun nodded, but felt something was off. Yuan Yu’s words seemed to suggest that something had happened that night.
"Then, could it be said you were a life-saver?" Yuan Yu suddenly asked, since Tang Jun couldn’t see her eyes, she wasn’t the least bit shy, and kept staring at him.
"Yes." Tang Jun nodded affirmatively.
That day, if not for Yuan Yu’s perseverance in saving him, he certainly wouldn’t have survived the night.
Yuan Yu consciously ignored that Tang Jun had fought the wolf because he was saving her. She cleared her throat and looked at him, saying, "Tang Jun."
"Hmm?"
Tang Jun followed the sound and looked toward Yuan Yu.
Yuan Yu grinned and said, "A life-saving grace, shouldn’t it be repaid by offering oneself in marriage?"
Offering oneself in marriage?
Tang Jun was a bit embarrassed and a bit dumbfounded, completely not expecting Yuan Yu to say this. His face was sun-tanned, yet one could still see that he was blushing, especially his ears, which were as red as cooked shrimp.
Yuan Yu seemed to have discovered a new continent, exclaiming excitedly, "Tang Jun, so you can blush, so you can get shy?"
"..."
Tang Jun’s face turned even redder.
"Hahaha~"
"Too cute."
Yuan Yu laughed until her stomach hurt. It was the first time she’d ever seen Tang Jun blush.
Tang Jun, teased by Yuan Yu, blushed even more.

"Xiao Jun, this acupuncture is passed down from my ancestors. I can’t guarantee that your eyes will definitely be cured."
As Grandpa Miao started speaking, Tang Jun said, "Grandpa Miao, don’t worry, I trust you."
"Even if the eyes don’t get better, it’s not Grandpa Miao’s fault." Tang Jun added.
Yuan Yu, being a surgeon, didn’t understand much about these matters of the brain and could only stand by nervously.
Mr. Miao was very meticulous when giving Tang Jun acupuncture.
The girl stood beside, watching earnestly. She would also become a doctor in the future. She wanted to be like her grandfather, treating and saving lives.
After the acupuncture, Grandpa Miao said, "To dissolve the blood clots in the brain, it’s not a matter of a day or two."
"I understand."
Tang Jun blinked his eyes; before him it was still pitch black.
Though Tang Jun couldn’t see, his hands were still functional. One hand holding the axe, the other feeling for the wood that needed chopping.
The girl stacked the chopped wood in the pile and brought more firewood over, helping Tang Jun, the big and small making quick work of it.
When Mr. Miao and Yuan Yu returned, they had already chopped half a pile of wood.
"Girl, you did this?" Mr. Miao’s tone was one of disbelief. The girl was hardworking, but some pieces were quite large.
"No, Brother Tang and I did it together." Explained the girl.
Yuan Yu, worried, looked at Tang Jun, who smiled and said, "Grandpa Miao, although I can’t see, it doesn’t mean I’m completely useless."
"Good."
Mr. Miao praised Tang Jun, truly admiring Tang Jun’s spirit. Tang Jun was different from others; stronger than most ordinary people.
Yuan Yu happily shared with Tang Jun their harvest, exclaiming that they’d collected quite a bit of herbs today.
"Awesome."
Tang Jun complimented, "The paths on the mountain aren’t easy–did you get hurt?"
"No." Yuan Yu pulled her hand back. Previously, while searching for Tang Jun, her hands had gotten quite hurt. Now, even though she was extremely careful in the mountain, she still got a few small cuts.
Yet, it was best not to mention it to Tang Jun, lest he worry.
Yuan Yu glanced up at him, pondering whether he would worry.
"Really?" Tang Jun, listening to Yuan Yu’s words, found it hard to believe.
"Of course, it’s true."
Yuan Yu quickly said, simultaneously signaling the girl to keep quiet. The girl looked at Yuan Yu’s visibly bandaged hand, then at Tang Jun, finally deciding to stay silent so as not to worry Brother Tang.
