The Meng Yanzhi of today is no longer the reckless young master he once was, unaware of the vastness of the world.
If he were to come out again, what would happen?
Meng Siyu kissed Tang Yue’s forehead. In her sleep, Tang Yue seemed a bit uncomfortable, shifted her body, adjusted to a more comfortable position, and then fell back into a deep sleep.
"Xiao Yue, no matter what, we will always be together."
Meng Siyu held her tightly, murmuring softly.

"Xiao Jun, don’t keep ’reading’ books, take a break." Zhang Hualian handed over a freshly peeled apple. Apart from his daily training, Tang Jun spent all his remaining time, aside from his three meals a day, entirely on braille.
Zhang Hualian watched with heartache.
"Mom, it’s okay. The teacher just taught me the pinyin rules. I need to learn them quickly." Tang Jun seriously recorded things. For those with good eyesight, learning braille is somewhat easier than for the blind, as they can at least see and compare.
But for Tang Jun, he entirely had to rely on remembering what the teacher said, with no real way to compare. Sometimes, he would try to recognize the characters, then ask Zaozao to confirm if he got them right or wrong.
Cooperating with Zaozao also allowed Tang Jun to study more braille at night and become more proficient.
"Don’t rush it." Zhang Hualian urged him to eat the apple, saying, "Braille isn’t something you can master in a day or two, so don’t put too much pressure on yourself."
Zhang Hualian wished she could donate her eyes to Tang Jun, but Tang Jun’s eyes were fine; it’s just that the pressure on the visual nerves caused his blindness. She felt helpless despite her willingness to help.
"Mom, don’t worry about me. I’m fine. Having something to do actually makes me happy." Tang Jun grinned and continued his earnest study of braille.
Zhang Hualian shook her head helplessly. Watching him work so hard, she chose not to disturb him further.
...
"Xiao Jun!"
After Cai Yufei and He Ming recovered, they seized the chance during their leave to visit Tang Jun together.
Tang Jun, just like the last time they met, had different eyes, although now he moved around the house with ease.
"How come you guys have time to visit?"
Upon hearing Cai Yufei and He Ming’s voices, Tang Jun immediately knew it was them, eagerly inquiring about things at the company.
Even if he could only hear them recount the daily happenings at the company, Tang Jun listened intently, fully engaged.
"Also, Doctor Yuan is getting married." Cai Yufei blurted out quickly, a habit of his, realizing too late that he probably shouldn’t have said that.
He Ming discreetly nudged Cai Yufei’s foot with his own, saying, "Xiao Jun, we have a day off today. How about going out for a bit?"
"Okay." Though Tang Jun didn’t ask about Cai Yufei’s statement, his mood visibly fell.
He roamed around with Cai Yufei and He Ming, both of whom tried their best to cheer him up. Despite Tang Jun’s outward nonchalance, He Ming worried about his inner turmoil.
Before parting, He Ming couldn’t help but clarify, "Xiao Jun, don’t mind what Feizi said. Doctor Yuan is just seeing someone, not about to marry yet."
"Who is Doctor Yuan seeing?" Tang Jun couldn’t resist asking.
Even though he appeared indifferent outwardly, only he knew how tumultuous his heart felt inside, as the once calm surface now surged with enormous waves.
