That night, all three Lian sisters were having dinner here. Originally, Lian Qingxuan was staying at home talking to Tang Yue about the factory, but then Si Yu returned.
As a result, Lian Qingxuan felt embarrassed to go to Tang Yue. Si Yu hardly comes back, and the couple has so little time together. Naturally, she felt reluctant to disturb them.
"Si Yu, why did you suddenly come back?" Mo Xiaolin was very surprised to see Si Yu, given that there were company matters to attend to in Jin City, so why did he come to Sea City?
Si Yu took Chenchen from Tang Yue’s arms, his dark eyes gazing at her intensely as he replied, "I finished my work; we have two days off."
"Chenchen, did you miss Daddy?"
Si Yu kissed Chenchen’s tender cheek, his stubble tickling Chenchen and making her giggle.
"You haven’t had dinner, have you?" Tang Yue asked, getting up to go to the kitchen to cook.
"Make me a bowl of noodles; I brought back some roasted lamb for you." Si Yu handed over the roasted lamb he brought.
There was still plenty of roasted lamb from that day, enough for the four to share equally with some leftover.
"Alright, I’ll make you roasted lamb noodles." Tang Yue looked at the roasted lamb, took out a small leg, and placed it into the noodles.
Zhang Hualian and Mo Xiaolin each took a child, everyone staying in the living room, leaving the kitchen to the couple.
Tang Yue stripped the lamb from the bone and sliced it thin.
Meanwhile, noodles were being boiled in the pot, and since all ingredients were readily available, cooking noodles was very quick.
She added the lamb, then some fresh greens, making the noodles look appetizing, and sprinkled some scallions to make them even tastier.
"Try it quickly." Tang Yue took the noodles from the pot into a bowl, reheated the sliced roasted lamb, and arranged it neatly atop the noodles, the aroma strong and inviting.
"Wife, your noodles taste so good." Si Yu looked at the steaming bowl of noodles, his appetite whetted by the large bowl. Despite the lamb being a day old, it was winter, so it wouldn’t spoil.
The scent of the lamb, the tender green vegetables, and the aroma of the scallions intertwined with the lamb flavor, Si Yu eating voraciously.
"Eat slowly." Tang Yue reminded him, placing the sliced lamb on a plate, preparing dipping sauce, and took it to the living room.
"Grandpa, Mom and Dad, Aunt, Mom, Si Yu brought roasted lamb; I sliced it and made some dipping sauce for you to try. It tastes pretty good." Tang Yue carried a large platter and brought enough chopsticks for everyone to taste.
"Delicious. Next time, we can order a whole roasted lamb. I heard the mare’s milk wine and whole roasted lamb, roasted lamb skewers from the grasslands, taste great." Lian Qingyang mused while eating.
"I’ve tried mare’s milk wine; it’s truly tasty." Lian Tong said happily, reminiscing about searching everywhere and visiting the grasslands. It was indeed blue skies and white clouds, with the wind blowing over the grass revealing cattle and sheep, incredibly beautiful.
"In the future, if there’s a chance, we’ll go together." Lian Tong’s gaze fell on Gu Chun beside her, full of anticipation.
"Sure." Gu Chun nodded, holding Lian Tong’s hand, saying, "Once you give birth and the child is a bit older, we’ll go."
"Promise." Lian Tong was excited; she actually enjoyed running around, admiring Huaxia’s beautiful sights.
"Grandpa, tomorrow, shall we take a big family photo?" Lian Qingyang suddenly proposed.
