Wan Ruhua felt a bit embarrassed, but Yunyi insisted, so she had to accept it: "It’s made so delicately, I can’t bear to eat it."
Yunyi pointed to the clean molds drying on the side, "I made it with molds, sister-in-law, if you need to use them, just come and take it."
Wan Ruhua curiously picked one up in her hand, "Where did this come from?"
Yunyi pointed to herself, "I carved it myself."
Upon hearing this, Wan Ruhua’s eyes lit up, "Sister-in-law, you’re really amazing, you can even carve."
Yunyi smiled lightly, "It’s just a hobby, not as great as you say, try it quickly, so you can give me some advice."
Wan Ruhua gently took a small bite, "Hmm, this is much tastier than the pastries sold at the consignment store, so soft and sticky."
Seeing Wan Ruhua liked it, Yunyi felt relieved.
But after some thought, it made sense, resources are scarce these days, and all good stuff was put in, it’d be strange if people didn’t like it.
As they were talking in the kitchen, suddenly a cry for help came from outside, "Someone come quickly, help my daughter-in-law."
They were both startled, what’s happening?
After exchanging a glance, they left the courtyard one after the other, heading towards the source of the sound.
Wan Ruhua explained to Yunyi, "This is Camp Commander Feng’s home from the Fourth Regiment, they’ve been newlyweds for less than six months."
Thinking of something, she slapped her thigh, "Oh no, his wife is pregnant, could something have happened to her?"
Remembering Yunyi’s current situation, she didn’t forget to remind her, "Don’t squeeze into the crowd, I’ll go in and take a look."
With that said, she quickly walked inside.
Out of curiosity, Yunyi followed her in.
