John replied, “There are, but the manager says they’re broken! So, we can’t see anything, and there’s no one to prove Ben is innocent.”
“I see. I’ll look around. John, go tell the company manager I’ll be coming to talk to him this afternoon!”
“Okay.”
Elena walked around the area. She took out her phone and directly hacked into the construction site’s surveillance system.
She checked the logs; the footage had indeed been deleted. However, this was child's play for her. A little restoration was all it needed. The truth would be known immediately.

“That caretaker is utterly unconscionable. Excessive use of sedatives causes significant harm to the kidneys. If it continued, kidney failure would have killed you!”
“Can... can it be cured?” Dylan suddenly looked worried.
Elena glanced at him. “You’re not worried about whether you can stand, but you’re exceptionally concerned about your kidneys?”
Dylan: “...”
He just didn’t want to be... useless. Even if he recovered, if a man’s kidneys didn't work... then how could he...
