Reborn Fake Heiress Watch the Whole Family Burn novel Chapter 259

Lucas Maddox breathed a sigh of relief after smoothing things over with Ms. Harper.

Turning to the group, he announced, "Listen up, everyone. Since this is your first time on my yacht, everything tonight is on the house. Drink the most expensive liquor, order the priciest food—it's all covered. Every entertainment facility on board is free for you to enjoy!"

The crowd instantly erupted with excitement at Lucas's declaration.

"That's an incredible perk!"

"Everything is free? Mr. Maddox really is generous."

"After we eat, I'm heading straight for the spa. The massages here are supposed to be top-tier!"

"This turned out better than expected!" Everyone was secretly thrilled.

Once Lucas finished his announcement, he immediately ordered the servers to bring out more premium dishes and drinks.

Inside the private room, the atmosphere was joyous. A few students, having downed a few too many drinks, were already starting to get tipsy.

Bianca sat alone, nursing a glass of red wine, sulking.

She had gone from being the center of attention to a complete afterthought, and the loss of status stung bitterly.

Her classmates were now swarming around Elena.

"Elena, how on earth did you get Mr. Maddox to back down like that?"

"Yeah, tell us! Are you actually some big shot in disguise? Haha!"

"Lucas was so arrogant before, but his attitude changed completely. It was insane."

"Whatever the reason, Elena is the MVP of the class. We wouldn't be having this fun without her."

...

The sudden wave of enthusiasm made Elena uncomfortable.

She had always been invisible in class, ignored by most of these people. Now, they were all fawning over her.

She mumbled a vague excuse to brush them off.

"Bianca, don't be sad. Who does she think she is? You're the one who suggested the yacht party, and you're the one who secured the reservation. You're the real hero, she just stole your thunder!" Hannah came over to comfort her.

Michelle nodded and went off to the spa with another classmate.

Elena walked out onto the terrace. It was deserted.

The sea air was fresh, and the night wind whipped her hair around her face.

The ocean surface glittered with reflected starlight; the view was indeed spectacular.

"Boss! Waaaaah!" A sound like a wailing banshee broke the silence.

It was Tyler.

"You haven't left yet?" Elena asked.

"How can I leave if the Boss hasn't left? Boss, I'm so sorry about tonight. It's all because of that bastard Lucas Maddox."

"What is your relationship with Lucas?"

Tyler pouted, stepping forward to tug at Elena's sleeve. "No real relationship. I own this section of the marina, and his family runs the cruise line, so naturally, they have to kiss up to me. He invited me to dinner, so I came. Who knew he'd offend you? Do you want me to chop him up and feed him to the sharks?"
