Reborn Fake Heiress Watch the Whole Family Burn novel Chapter 305

He was alone in a corner, looking around, seemingly quite bored.

“Theresa, ask Logan to come over and eat together!” Elena said.

Theresa glanced at Logan. “He's just my driver and bodyguard. Why ask him?”

“Don't be like that. He drives you around and ensures your safety. Just let him join!”

Elena finished speaking and looked toward Logan across the room.

“Mr. Hughes, come eat with us!”

Logan walked over and said politely, “No need, I'll just grab a bite outside later!”

“Why so polite? If Elena asks you to sit and eat, just sit!” Dylan chimed in.

“Then I shall accept the offer!” Logan sat directly next to Theresa.

Theresa glared at him but continued eating.

“Did you really not eat anything today? Why are you so hungry?” Elena asked curiously.

“Don't mention it. In the cafeteria at noon, I got a rat head in my food. Ugh! It was so disgusting. I lose my appetite just thinking about it!”

Theresa recounted the rat head incident.

Elena finally understood why the heiress had undergone such a transformation.

Sure enough, only by suffering hardship does one learn to cherish food!

“I can't. Thinking about that rat head makes me want to puke!” Theresa covered her mouth.

“Actually, you don't need to be so nervous. A rat head isn't that big of a deal. I've eaten one before!” Elena comforted her.

Logan suddenly looked up and glanced at Elena.

“True, rats these days might carry bacteria, so it's better to avoid them. Your company cafeteria's hygiene really must be terrible.”

“Isn't it just? I'm absolutely furious! The cafeteria staff, from top to bottom, all claimed it was a duck neck! Look at this, is this a duck neck?”

Theresa took out her phone. She had secretly taken a photo earlier.

Elena smiled. “It is indeed ridiculous.”

“The problem now is that I want them to fix it, but no one listens to me. They think I'm being unreasonable, and complaints go nowhere!” Theresa pouted. This was the most annoying thing about her day.

Dylan understood immediately upon hearing this.

“You're a new employee, of course you can't control it. They aren't afraid of you. Usually, cafeterias like that have connections. That's why they are fearless. If they say it's a duck neck, it's a duck neck. Unless you find stronger evidence to uproot the faction running the cafeteria, they won't make any changes!”

“Mr. Sinclair makes so much sense. You hit the nail on the head. I get it now!” Theresa couldn't help but praise him.

She hadn't realized the cafeteria had powerful connections.
