"Bianca, why did you hit her? You're acting like a psycho! No wonder you have no class!" Henry grabbed Bianca's hand and shouted.
"Let go of me! Henry, you bastard, you just know how to use people!"
"Mr. Whitaker, my face hurts so much. You have to stand up for me!" Gloria egged him on.
Henry raised his hand. To impress Gloria, he prepared to slap Bianca.
But before the slap could land, his arm was intercepted by Elena.
"Hitting a woman? You really are a piece of work."
"Elena! What are you doing here?"
"Just a coincidence! Imagine that!"
Henry tried to pull his hand back, but he realized Elena's grip was incredibly strong.
She had his wrist in a vice grip; he couldn't move, and the pain was intense.
Elena applied a little more pressure, and Henry started howling in pain.
"Let go... Let go of me... Let go, Elena!"
It was utterly humiliating.
A grown man, completely neutralized by a woman.
His image in Gloria's eyes was shattered.
"Will you ever dare to hit a woman again?" Elena asked.
"No, no! Just let me go!"
Elena finally released him.
Gloria saw Elena and recognized her as Dylan's fiancée.
She couldn't afford to mess with her.
Combined with the embarrassment she and Henry had just suffered, she glared at Bianca angrily and stormed off.
Seeing her leave, Henry quickly chased after her.
"Thanks," Bianca said, letting out a breath.
"She always acts so perfect. I thought she was a wealthy princess! I didn't think she'd be doing such shameful things in private."
"Could it be a misunderstanding? Bianca doesn't seem like that type."
"Misunderstanding my ass. The school forum has photos. The truth is right there in HD."
"So many people envied her before—good grades, great design skills, beautiful. Tsk, tsk. I never thought she could be so cheap!"
Everyone was spitting disdain at Bianca.
People despised that sort of thing the most. The image and persona Bianca had painstakingly built were completely destroyed.
"See? I'm not the only one saying it. I think this is retribution. Who asked her to treat you like that before?" Michelle added.
"Alright, let's stop talking about her. She actually has it tough."
Michelle looked surprised. "Since when do you stick up for Bianca? Elena, you're too kind. If it were you, she'd definitely be leading the charge to trample you. Now that she's getting her karma, you're still being nice to her."
"It's nothing. Everyone has bad luck sometimes. No one's life is smooth sailing. Stop talking, she's coming in!" Elena glanced at the classroom door.
Bianca walked in holding her books, and the class fell silent.
