For Michelle, and for her fallen brothers in the Moon Organization, she had to go.
If she didn't come back, perhaps he wouldn't be so hung up on her anymore.
She had always been a cold person, but saying those words made her heart ache unbearably.
It hurt.
It really hurt.
She was someone who could let go when necessary. Even if it was painful, she would endure it.
She wasn't one to lose her head over love. She knew when it was time to give up.
She wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes, turned around, took out a backpack, and began to pack. She was heading to Silvercrest State.
"Mr. Sinclair... Sir?" Caleb watched Dylan, who hadn't spoken for a long time, and felt incredibly worried.
*Clatter.*
Dylan's phone hit the floor.
Caleb had a bad feeling about this.
Were things completely over between Mr. Sinclair and Miss Elena Whelan?
He mentally kicked himself. Why did he have to suggest that Mr. Sinclair call Miss Elena Whelan?
Instead of helping, it only made Mr. Sinclair more miserable.

At the bar.
George watched the man in front of him pouring drink after drink down his throat.
"Stop drinking. I've never seen you like this. What happened? Heartbreak?" George noticed the signs immediately.
"She wants to break up with me. Does she really like that man? It turns out there's someone more important to her than me!"
George snatched the glass from his hand. "You've already stumbled over this once. Haven't you learned your lesson? Women are unreliable!"
"This is different. When Isabella left, I just felt a sense of loss and regret. But this time... it hurts right here."
Dylan struck his chest.
George fell silent.
It hadn't been long, and Dylan was already unraveling.
Isabella was indeed a thorn in his side.

Meanwhile, Elena had finished packing her backpack and was ready to set off.
"Elena, where are you going?" Amanda asked.
"Mom, I'm going away for a few days. I've already asked for leave from school. If Dad asks, just tell him I'll be back in a couple of days."
"Are you going far?"
"Not too far. Just visiting a friend."
"Well, be safe on the road."
Elena nodded. Suddenly, she turned back and hugged Amanda.
"What's wrong, child? It's not like you aren't coming back."
