Reborn Fake Heiress Watch the Whole Family Burn novel Chapter 371

Logan looked up and saw Dylan. His voice trembled. "Boss... The Boss is dead. They killed her!"

Dylan's mind instantly flashed to Elena.

"Mr. Sinclair? What are you doing here?" Sirius asked, surprised.

"Mr. Brooks," Dylan growled, his fists clenching at his sides. "Where is Elena? The person you planned to ambush today was her, wasn't it?"

"Yeah, it was. But Sinclair, what's it to you?"

"Where is she!"

"She fell."

Dylan lunged forward, ready to beat Sirius into the ground.

The bodyguards surrounding Sirius immediately swarmed forward to block him.

At that moment, George arrived with his own team.

The two groups faced off, weapons drawn.

"Mr. Miller," Sirius sneered, glancing at the reinforcements. "I didn't expect you to bring an army."

"You actually dared to ambush Elena!" Dylan felt as though his heart was being ripped apart.

"Mr. Sinclair, isn't there some kind of misunderstanding here?" Sirius asked. He had always dealt with George; this was his first time meeting Dylan in person.

"Today, none of you who hurt her are leaving here alive!"

Chaos erupted as the two sides clashed.

Sirius, having just survived a brutal fight with Elena, wasn't in any condition to linger. He took his remaining men and fled the scene amidst the confusion.

"George, go after them!" Dylan roared.

The grassy field was a mess of trampled earth and bloodstains. Several bodies lay nearby, unattended.

Dylan walked to the edge of the cliff and looked down into the thick, heavy fog. His heart sank.

"Elena... Elena..." he cried out in anguish.

He was too late.

He didn't know she had come to Silvercrest. He knew nothing about what she was doing.

He took a breath, trying to steady his voice. "Send a team down there to search for her. Find her. I believe she's still alive. She wouldn't leave me like this."

"Yes, sir."

Meanwhile, Sirius and his remaining men had successfully crossed the border, smuggling themselves into Myantara.

"Boss, what do we do now?" a subordinate asked.

"Contact the local gangs. I want a search party looking for Moon. I'm worried she didn't die," Sirius said, his expression dark. "I want to see her, dead or alive. Preferably alive—she's useful to me."

"Yes, sir."

"And what is the relationship between Dylan and Moon? He turned on me for her, and I lost good men because of it."

"Our intel didn't catch it because we always dealt with George," the subordinate explained. "We never expected the man behind George to be Dylan. He's Moon's fiancé."

"Fiancé? Interesting," Sirius laughed maniacally. "Moon, we have a long future ahead of us. You just gave me another weakness! Hahaha!"

This trip back to the country hadn't been a waste after all.

For the next two days, Dylan stayed in Riverton, tirelessly searching for Elena.
