Elena remembered what Theresa had said earlier—Dylan had pushed himself until he collapsed from exhaustion.
Since coming out of the operating room, she hadn't even looked for him!
She had poured all her attention into Sean, completely neglecting Dylan.
Truth be told, Elena felt deeply guilty.
"Alright, I understand. Thank you, Caleb!"

At a bar.
Dylan sat in a corner, drinking alone.
His mind was a mess right now.
It had been a long time since he drank alone like this.
He'd been stripped of his position, cast aside by Xavier, and over on Elena's side, Sean was showing her such absolute devotion.
It felt like absolutely nothing was going his way.
He downed glass after glass of liquor, swallowing nothing but sorrow.
At that moment, he caught the eye of a woman.
She had been observing Dylan for a long time. He had been drinking there for two hours already, and no friends had shown up to join him.
She concluded he was drinking alone because he was upset.
That wasn't the important part; the important part was that he was incredibly handsome. Out of everyone in the bar, he was the one who instantly caught her eye.
"Lisa, you've got your eye on him?" another woman asked.
"Yeah. I haven't seen a man this gorgeous in a long time. He's absolutely top-tier. I bet he's incredible in bed, too!"
"Hahaha, that might be true, but are you sure you can actually reel him in?"
The woman named Lisa spoke with extreme confidence. "Of course I can. I'm a maneater; you know how good I am. Besides, when a man is sulking like this, it's either over love or his career. What else could it be? If it's work, that's easy. He's frustrated, so I just give him some comfort. If it's love, it's even easier. He's definitely heartbroken or going through a rough patch. If an understanding person shows up right now and lets him cut loose, he'll feel much better."
"Sir, let's just have a nice chat. I know you're upset, but there's nothing in this world you can't get past. Why don't you let me keep you company? That way, you have someone to talk to. I'm more than happy to listen..."
As she spoke, Lisa reached her hand toward Dylan's chest.
But before she even touched him, Dylan shoved her away.
Lisa lost her balance, stumbled, and fell hard onto the floor, drawing laughter and mockery from the people around them.
"I'll say it one last time. Get lost," Dylan said in disgust.
His eyes were filled with blatant annoyance.
Lisa felt utterly humiliated. This man was completely unappreciative of her advances. How dare he?
With no other choice, she got up and stormed off in anger.
Her friend saw her return and chuckled. "Hahaha, Lisa, looks like you misfired this time. I guess there are men even you can't handle!"
Lisa was furious. "I don't believe it. I refuse to believe any man can resist a beautiful woman. If he won't play nice, I have my ways of getting him."
