"Maybe next time, Aaron, Melinda. We have to go to work now. We still have tasks to finish in the Public Affairs Department. We need to talk to the influencers about today's new video project," Hayden explained apologetically.
"Alright then." Aaron and Melinda both nodded and bid him farewell as they left.
Hayden watched them leave, feeling somewhat puzzled. He could clearly sense that their attitude toward him seemed much better than before. This wasn't just his imagination.
"What are you looking at? Hurry up and go!" Christina slapped him on the back, urging him.
"Okay. But what's with your parents suddenly being so nice to me?" he asked instinctively.
"Who said they're being nice? And what's wrong with that?" She frowned slightly, feeling a bit disgruntled. He had taken advantage of the situation and was acting innocent.
"I didn't say anything was wrong," he responded, feeling helpless.
"Hurry up and go!" Christina pulled him along and quickly made their way to the company, heading straight for the meeting room.
They scheduled a meeting with the influencers and live streamers today to discuss the new video shoot.
However, when they entered, the room was completely empty. There wasn't a single person there.
Hayden and Christina froze, exchanging confused looks.
"What's going on? Where is everyone?" she asked, her face filled with confusion.
This situation humiliated them.
"Call them and have them come immediately!" he said coldly, his tone firm.
That was the only course of action for now. After all, the work had to come first. They couldn't afford to waste any more time.
However, after this incident, Hayden had already figured out the attitude of the influencers.
Soon, the staff took action and started calling the influencers.
At that moment, in one of the influencers' group chats, someone wrote, "Has everyone received the call?"
