Hayden nodded solemnly, his expression serious.
"Then…" Christina hesitated, as if unsure whether to continue, but she bit her lip and said no more.
Turning to the staff, she instructed, "Go on!"
"Yes!" The staff immediately nodded and left.
Soon, the announcement reached the ears of social media influencers across Stonybrook. Many were thrilled and immediately began discussing it.
"Did you hear? Christina is partnering with the Public Affairs Department, and they're looking for collaborators. Should we go?"
"That's odd. I heard yesterday that she already contacted a group of influencers, and many agreed!"
"Maybe they still need more people. If we join, it's sure to be a great opportunity for exposure. Let's go!"
Without overthinking it, many influencers eagerly agreed and headed to the company to sign up. As the news spread further, it finally reached the group chat of the original influencers.
"What is Christina thinking? How could she start working with other influencers without notifying us? Does she think we're not enough?"
"It doesn't seem like she thinks we're insufficient. It feels like she wants to replace us entirely!"
"What? If that's true, this is bad. She's trying to cut us off and take all the benefits for herself!"
"We can't just sit back. Let's head over right now! If we wait any longer and get replaced, we'll lose our chance entirely!"
In a second, the chat erupted into panic as everyone anxiously discussed their next steps.
They began to realize Christina's bold and strategic approach, leaving them no choice but to reconsider their actions.
"You need to investigate Christina Swanson properly! She's hiring other influencers behind our backs!"
"She must have taken bribes! Why else would she bring in so many new people? Her authority has gone to her head!"
"She didn't even notify us before hiring the other influencers! This is blatant disrespect!"
Their collective complaints twisted the truth, painting Christina in a negative light as they passionately presented their case to the Public Affairs Department team.
For a moment, the staff were stunned. They had no idea what was going on.
The matter was promptly reported to higher management. After half an hour, a response finally came down.
"The decision from above is clear. If you're willing to continue collaborating, you can stay. If not, you're free to leave. But under no circumstances are you to disrupt Christina's work!"
