Mrs. Fu was delighted to hear they could help mail her things.
She quickly brought out everything she had sorted out the previous night and started packing.
She even packed some other things she hadn’t originally planned on taking.
In a flurry of activity, the entire morning flew by.
Mrs. Qin couldn’t help much with the packing, but she looked after the two children and helped with the cooking.
They had lunch at the Fu family’s home.
"Mom, you’re an amazing cook."
Fu Mingxue was truly impressed.
Mrs. Fu nodded in agreement. "You truly have a gift for cooking. This fish is much better than how I make it."
Seeing the mother and daughter enjoy her cooking made Mrs. Qin very happy.
"In that case, you all should come to our place for dinner tonight. Father insisted that you must come. We can treat it as a farewell dinner for you."
Hearing this, Mrs. Fu instinctively looked over at her daughter.
Fu Mingxue nodded. "Alright. We’ll be there."
Mrs. Qin was delighted.
Right after lunch, Qin Wenze arrived.
"Sister-in-law, are these all the packages?"
Fu Mingxue nodded. "That’s everything. Thank you, Brother."
"Of course. It’s the least I can do."
Qin Wenze loaded the five extra-large packages from the courtyard into his car.
He didn’t need Fu Mingxue to go with him.
He drove off right away.
With those items mailed, Fu Mingxue and her family wouldn’t have much to carry.
Just some clothes and a can of milk powder for the children.
