Fu Mingxue knew Qin Wenying’s matter was urgent, so after returning to the conference room, she compressed her workload.
Two hours later, she came out of her office and saw Qin Wenying waiting outside.
"Let’s go, Sis!"
"Alright." Qin Wenying had ridden her bicycle over.
But her bicycle was no match for Fu Mingxue’s modified electric one.
Fortunately, when the motor wasn’t engaged, it could be ridden like a regular bicycle.
After the two of them rode out of the factory complex, Qin Wenying asked, "Do you work this late every day?"
Fu Mingxue shook her head. "No, just for the past few days. There’s been something going on here. By the way, Sis, what did you need to see me about?"
"I’m here to ask you to fix an airplane." Qin Wenying got straight to the point.
She added, "I already went to the military family compound, but I didn’t expect you to be in Beijing City. I should’ve called first; then I wouldn’t have made a trip for nothing."
Fu Mingxue was stunned when she heard the words "fix an airplane."
’Seriously? In their eyes, were my repair skills really that incredible?’
’Why did they all keep coming to me to fix airplanes?’
’Had I ever mentioned that my actual specialty was engine R&D?’
"—Where’s the plane?"
"It’s at a base. We can fly directly there from here. It should take about four hours."
"Do we have to leave tonight?" Fu Mingxue had class tomorrow.
Her course here was almost finished.
It didn’t seem right to leave without making proper arrangements.
A repair job like this definitely wouldn’t be a quick fix.
After all, if it took four hours to fly there, wouldn’t it take four hours to fly back?
