"Suzanne Sawyer?"
Cecilia Sterling mulled over the name. It seemed to ring a bell—the girl who had stolen her sister’s role at the very beginning.
Yuna nodded repeatedly. "Yes, everyone on set could see she did it on purpose, but you can’t just call her out on it. She’d never admit to it."
It had happened several days ago, but Yuna couldn’t help but feel indignant on Lily’s behalf as she brought it up again.
Cecilia Sterling’s expression was calm, betraying no emotion. She simply asked, "Is there anything else?"
Yuna thought for a moment, then shook her head. "That’s it."
Finn, however, said, "The publicity team released Lily’s stills today. She’s pretty much burst onto the scene. With her current popularity, that Suzanne Sawyer probably won’t dare to pull any more tricks on her."
Yuna nodded in agreement. "Exactly. And if Lily chooses to sign with Goldman Golding, no one would dare bully her on her own company’s set."
Hearing this, Cecilia Sterling looked at Yuna and smiled. "You want her to sign with Goldman Golding?"
Yuna stuck her tongue out, a little embarrassed, and said frankly, "Of course I do. Working with Connie would be great. She has a huge network and high standing in the industry. She could help Lily avoid a lot of pitfalls."
Yuna wasn’t exaggerating. At that very moment, Connie had just appeared on set, and people were already approaching her one after another to say hello.
"Connie, what brings you here?"
Jessica Reynolds saw the crowd around Connie start to disperse and seized the opportunity to greet her warmly. Since they were at the same company, Jessica had always wanted to be transferred to Connie’s management, knowing that her resources would surely improve under her.
"Jessica, that’s a beautiful look." Connie glanced at Jessica Reynolds’s makeup and styling for the day, offering a compliment.
Jessica Reynolds smiled sweetly and linked her arm through Connie’s affectionately. "Connie, you don’t have any talent on this production. What brings you here?"
"I’ve got my eye on a newcomer. I came to meet her and see if I can sign her," Connie said bluntly.
Jessica Reynolds froze for a second, her smile stiffening on her face.
Her eyes darted around as she asked tentatively, "You have to come in person just to sign a newcomer? Don’t tell me you’re planning to manage her personally?"
It was common knowledge that newcomers at the company were usually assigned to the talent coordinator, who would then group them under a single agent. In other words, when you were just starting out, several newcomers had to share one agent.
An ace agent like Connie would only take on a newcomer after they had achieved particularly outstanding results. Even Heather Keaton had been in the business for a year and a half before being transferred to Connie’s roster.
"What? I can’t manage a newcomer?" Connie asked with a playful smile.
Jessica Reynolds quickly shook her head. "That’s not what I meant."
She started to act cute. "Connie, you should take me on, too! Please, talk to President Lockwood and have me transferred to you. I want to learn more from you!"
