Chapter 113
Jeremy was still in shock, unable to process how someone like Isabella could possibly have scored 1440.
“Mr. Wright, the vice principal said coldly. “As a faculty member, you jumped to conclusions without getting the facts straight and damaged a student’s reputation. Don’t you think you owe Isabella an apology?”
Jeremy’s body stiffened. In front of the entire school, his face burned with shame.
When had he ever been so humiliated?
But he couldn’t bring himself to apologize to Isabella.
He didn’t believe she deserved an apology.
Jeremy explained, “Mr. Sanchez, Isabella’s previous grades were so poor that I misjudged her. I didn’t mean to accuse her falsely.”
“Nonsense!”
Albert Sanchez was furious.
He strode up to Jeremy, pointed at him, and said sternly, “What are you trying to say? You made a mistake, and now you’re blaming Isabella for
her earlier poor performance?”
Just because Isabella didn’t do well before, does that mean she deserves to be accused and slandered by you?”
“Jeremy, students have been reporting issues with your conduct to me for quite some time.. I assumed you were simply being strict, but now I
see the problem runs deeper.”
Jeremy was stunned.
‘What are you standing there for?” Albert shouted. “Apologize to Isabella right now, in front of all the students, for what you’ve done!*
“I…” Jeremy started to speak, but when he saw Albert’s furious expression, he forced himself to stop.
He was on the verge of a promotion.
He shouldn’t clash with his superior at this critical moment.
Jeremy swallowed his pride and held back.
He clenched his fists, glanced at Isabella, then turned to face everyone on the field and spoke into the microphone with difficulty:
Regarding today’s announcement accusing Isabella from Class 11, Grade 12 of cheating on the exam–I made an error in judgment and wasted everyone’s time. Isabella did not cheat. I apologize to all of you for my mistake, and I sincerely apologize to Isabella.”
Below the stage, Bianca clenched her fists, her lips trembling.
Isabella actually… hadn’t cheated.

But 1440 points–how was that possible?
Wasn’t that a bit too unbelievable?
‘Gabriel, your sister is amazing.”
A male student behind Gabriel patted him on the shoulder, staring in awe “She’s a total genius!”
Gabriel hadn’t recovered from his shock either.
When he first heard Jeremy announce on stage that Isabella had cheated, He wasn’t surprised at all.
He wouldn’t have found it surprising if Isabella had done something disgraceful.
He never considered that Isabella might have been wrongly accused.
He simply couldn’t understand what had gone wrong.
Isabella had grown up in a poor area and had never received a proper education. She should have been unrefined and uneducated.
How could she possibly have scored so high?
With a score like this, she could apply to the most prestigious programs at any university in the country.
After graduation, she would undoubtedly rise to the top of her field.
A true talent…

Gabriel had never thought of Isabella as talented before.
“Isabella is pretty, a lot of guys like her, and her grades are good too.” The male student didn’t notice Gabriel’s reaction and kept rambling.
“If I had a sister like that, I’d be too happy to even sleep.”
The student didn’t have a sister–only a brother who fought with him every day, and they often came to blows.
He was so fed up with it.
He envied classmates who had sisters and often dreamed of having one himself, imagining sisters as gentle and affectionate–far better than
brothers.
Gabriel’s palms tightened, his expression shifting slightly.
So in other people’s eyes, was Isabella really that good?
The driver parked the car outside the school gate.
Olivia got out with her bag.

She had suppressed her anger the entire ride, and the moment she stepped out, she strode through the school gate.
She asked the security guard, “My daughter is in the Grade 12 international class. Has the grade assembly finished?”
When he heard it was the international class, the guard immediately nodded. “It just ended.”
Olivia thanked him and walked in, only to spot a well–dressed woman she knew approaching her.
Olivia’s body instinctively stiffened.
Fearing the woman might already know about Isabella’s alleged cheating, her first instinct was to turn away and avoid her.
But it was already too late.
The other woman had already spotted her.
“Mrs. Taylor.
Olivia clenched her fists, froze in place, and forced a polite smile. “Mrs. Morris.”
After what Isabella had done, she felt too ashamed to face anyone.
Marlowe Morris approached her. “What a coincidence–I didn’t expect to see you here.”
Olivia could only respond with a faint, restrained smile and a slight nod.

She wasn’t in the mood for small talk and was already searching for an excuse to leave.
“Mrs. Taylor, I just saw this exam’s grade rankings!” Marlowe spoke up. “I honestly didn’t expect your daughter to score so high. She’s
absolutely outstanding!”
1440 points.
She wouldn’t have dared to imagine such a score.
At those words, Olivia’s expression remained unreadable.
She was used to it–Bianca’s grades were always excellent, and this time was no different.
Over the years, everyone she met praised Bianca for being pretty and well–behaved, intelligent, academically excellent, and talented at the
piano.
Such praise was endless.
Yes, Bianca had always been her pride. She had never once regretted pouring so much effort into raising Bianca.
“I have an appointment,” Olivia said hastily. “I really must be going.”
Marlowe was momentarily stunned, needing a few seconds to process her abrupt departure.
