Chapter 138
Charles met Violet’s resolute gaze; his heart sank, and he quickly turned to beg Zephyr.
“Zephyr, please help me talk to Violet. After all these years we’ve been together…”
‘Shut up! Zephyr’s icy stare shot toward Charles like a sharp arrow. “You have the nerve to say that? Cheating on Violet behind her back, and you still want
her to forgive you? Impossible!”
A thought struck Zephyr, and he continued, “Starting tomorrow, that house will no longer be available to your family. You must move out immediately. I’l
list it online and sell it.”
Hearing this, Charles felt like his world was collapsing.
He had never imagined Zephyr could be so ruthless. Realizing he would lose the Cooper family’s support and have no place to live, he was filled with
extreme regret.
Charles wanted to say more, but Zephyr gave him no chance and left with Violet.
When Finnian heard that Zephyr was even taking back the house, he was shocked and furious. He immediately directed all his hatred toward Charles,
rushing over and slapping him across the face again and again.
“You idiot! You’ve ruined the entire Green family! You had a perfectly good girlfriend and couldn’t treat her right, yet you dared to hook up with another
woman. Now look–we have nothing left!”
‘I’ll beat you to death, you fool! How did I end up with such a stupid son? You’ve completely messed up everything!*
Charles was slapped until his mouth bled. He knelt numbly before Finnian’s wheelchair in a daze. “Dad, I was wrong, I was wrong… Please stop hitting me…”
What terrified him even more than being slapped was the question: what would the Green family do from now on?
At the school gate.
Violet declined Zephyr’s suggestion to take a few days off and rest at home, watching as Zephyr’s car drove away.
Turning around, Violet spotted Isabella and immediately ran over to her.
“Isabella, was it you who posted that audio recording on the forum?”
Isabella nodded. “Yes, I posted it.”
If Charles hadn’t fought back and insisted on having Finnian come make a scene at school, she would have had no need to release that recording.
But he just wouldn’t give up.
“Thank you.” Violet was deeply grateful. “If it weren’t for you, I really wouldn’t have been able to clear my name.”
“If you want to thank me, sing me a few more songs tonight to help me sleep.
“Sure, I’ll sing whatever you want to hear.”

Chapter 138
Meanwhile, at Infinity Entertainment Inc.
A knock sounded at the door. Lawrence didn’t look up, leaning back on the sofa and continuing to play his game.
Dash pushed the door open and glanced at Lawrence, speaking in an ingratiating tone. “Lawrence, playing games again? Did you win or lose?”
Lawrence glanced at him. “What is it? Need something?”
Ember still hadn’t agreed to let Isabella accompany him at his concert, and he was in a terrible mood.
In the past few days, he had skipped magazine shoots and events–he simply didn’t want to work.
