Chapter 155

Backstage at the concert. “Who did this again?” Ember looked at the messages online, utterly livid. It had only been a moment, and someone had already
leaked the information.
Holding this concert was really not easy for them–surrounded by adversaries. Isabella stepped forward, “Ember, what’s the situation with Lawrence?”
“He’s already on his way here from the hospital. He’ll arrive in twenty minutes at the latest. His voice has rebounded, so he can keep singing.” Isabella breathed a breath of comfort. “That’s good.” “Isabella, thank goodness for you. You bought us over twenty minutes on stage.”
“No problem. Since I agreed to work with you guys, naturally I need to help solve problems when emergencies arise.” Ember patted her shoulder. All her previous skepticism of Isabella vanished, and she felt grateful that Lawrence had really found a steadfast pianist this time. “But Ember, what do we do next?” a staff member asked.
“It’s fine. Since we’ve got confirmation that Lawrence is okay, the concert can naturally continue.”
Ember thought for a moment and added, “Just have the host explain the situation clearly to the audience. The people who came to the venue are all loyal
fans with high integrity–they should understand.” The fans‘ current panic probably came from the lack of information and worrying about Lawrence. As long
as they knew Lawrence’s voice was only temporarily damaged and he was on his way back, their emotions should stabilize.
Ember immediately had the host follow her instructions.
“Sorry, everyone. About twenty minutes ago, Lawrence had some problems with his voice, so we took him to the hospital. Lawrence is now on his way back and will arrive at the venue within twenty minutes. We hope you can understand, and because of this extraordinary circumstance, the concert will be extended by forty minutes as restitution for the poor experience.”
In the audience, Bianca sat next to Gabriel. Hearing the host’s words, she looked at Gabriel. “So it was Lawrence’s voice that had problems. I’m so worried. Gabriel, you don’t think something will happen to Lawrence, do you?”
“No, he’ll be fine.” Gabriel consoled her. “Didn’t the host say? Lawrence will be back in twenty minutes. Let’s just wait patiently. After speaking. Gabriel looked toward the stage again. The girl was gone from the instrument.
“Gabriel, what are you looking at?” Bianca asked, leaning curiously. “Bianca, don’t you think… that pianist looked a bit familiar?” “The pianist wearing the
mask?”
“Yes, I think she looks a bit like…”
Gabriel thought about it but didn’t say Isabella’s name out loud.
How could it be Isabella?
Impossible. How could Isabella, that person from the countryside, be the musical collaborator at Lawrence’s concert? She clearly had never even touched a piano, while this pianist was obviously very proficient.
“Never mind, it’s nothing.” Gabriel shook his head, discarding the cluttered ideas. “Bianca, are you thirsty? If you are, I’ll go buy you some water
Lawrence hurried back to the concert venue as fast as he could. The staff present all felt a wave of case when they saw hum. Did anything happen after i

“No major problems. I had Isabella play a few pieces first to stall for you, and we’ve already explained the situation clearly to the fans. Lawrence thanked Isabella and hastened to the spotlight. The remaining songs didn’t need piano accompaniment, so Isabella didn’t need to go on stage again.
Isabella, you must be tired. Go rest in the lounge–there are desserts prepared there, you can eat something first.”
Just as Ember finished speaking, her assistant suddenly came over and murmured an update in her ear. Ember was dumbfounded. “What? Mr. Garcia wants to meet Isabella?” The assistant nodded. ‘Mr. Garcia said he wants to take Isabella as his protege.” “Okay, got it.” Ember turned to look at Isabella. “Isabella, my
assistant just said Mr. Garcia wants to meet you. I wonder if that’s agreeable to your schedule?”
Isabella was confused, “Who is Mr. Garcia?” Ember had time anyway, so she began explaining. “This Mr. Garcia is a prominent titan in Lumaria’s piano world. Although he’s already eighty years old, his status in the piano world is unquestionable. However, in all these years, no one has ever heard of him taking on students. But just now my assistant said he seems very interested in your performance and apparently wants to take you as his student.”
Isabella only vaguely grasped the gravity. Actually, she didn’t really know these important people in the outside world. She hadn’t received formal conservatory education, so naturally she hadn’t been exposed to any famous pianists. The reason she could play was just because her master had casually taught her. Her master was just an amateur piano enthusiast, so what he taught her was just a few pieces–nothing complex.
‘Does that Mr. Garcia think I played well?” Isabella asked. “What Mr. García thinks, you’ll probably have to ask him yourself. He’s waiting for you. Whether or not you’re willing to be his student, meeting this distinguished maestro can’t hurt.” “Alright, I’ll go meet him.” Isabella followed Ember’s assistant out.
Ember’s assistant led her to an empty room. Opening the door, there were clearly seven or eight people inside–two elderly men and several young people. Isabella still wore her mask. As soon as Alexander saw her arrive, he walked over with great fervor. “You’re the girl who performed on stage just now?” Isabella nodded. Alexander’s gaze appraised Isabella, growing more satisfied the more he looked. So young, yet with this level of skill–if she could be properly trained, this girl would definitely create remarkable feats.
‘Mr. Garcia, I heard you want to take me as your student?” Isabella asked point–blank. “You know who I am, right? I single–handedly founded Lumaria’s Piano Association. I’ve never taken on a student until now. First, because there were no young people I valued. Second, because I didn’t have the energy.”
ou, I’m willing to devote my resources.” Isabella looked at Alexander very solemnly. “Thank you for your kind offer, but I already have a master.”
nder was taken aback, very surprised. “You already have a master?” “Yes.” “Who is your master?”
