Chapter 52
These news reached Isabella’s ears, but she was already used to them
and continued walking at her own pace.
Isabella used to hear such praise all the time when she didn’t disguise herself. She remembered there was a campus beauty voting list at
Stellar High School. Someone posted her photo on it, and she quickly
got voted to first place by her schoolmates.
It was probably this incident that triggered Bianca’s jealousy.
Afterward, Bianca launched one scheme after another–spreading rumors about her messy private life, deliberately causing a fire, and more. She not only ruined Isabella’s reputation, but she also burned -her skin. Later, Bianca even caused a surgical accident that destroyed
one of her eyes.
Just like her master had said, she had a straightforward personality, direct and honest. She knew how to fight, but she had no scheming
nature.
She trusted Bianca. Even though Bianca wasn’t blood–related to her, she treated Bianca as her sister. She saw other sisters around her getting along well and thought she and Bianca could be like them too.

She never knew that while she wanted to treat Bianca as a sister,
Bianca only wanted to destroy her.
Just like the fire in her previous life–Bianca had calculated perfectly that Isabella would definitely rush in to save her.
She was slow to realize this malice because her past had been simple,
and the people around her were all good, without prejudice or
schemes.
Lost in these thoughts, Isabella unknowingly arrived at the girls‘
dormitory building.
At the entrance was a dorm supervisor in charge of registration.
Isabella walked over, registered as instructed by the supervisor,
received her dorm key, and pulled her suitcase toward the dormitory
entrance.
A voice suddenly came from behind her.
“Hey, which floor are you on? You’re carrying such a big suitcase-
going upstairs must be tough. Let me help you.”
Isabella turned around to see a tall, handsome–looking guy.

Isabella politely declined, “Thanks for the offer, but it’s okay. My suitcase is a bit heavy.”
“How heavy can it be?” The guy smiled dismissively. “Come on,
help you.”

He grabbed the suitcase handle directly and pulled hard, preparing to
lift it up the steps.
The suitcase didn’t budge.

“Your suitcase is a bit heavy,” the guy laughed awkwardly, forcing
himself to appear relaxed. “But it won’t stop me.”
Gritting his teeth, he used all his strength and managed to lift it up
several steps, leaving him gasping for breath.
“Hey, you still haven’t said–which floor are you on?” The guy wiped
the sweat from his forehead.
“Seventh floor,” Isabella said.
The guy’s expression changed slightly. He instinctively looked at the
stairs ahead, his face cracking for a moment.

“Give it to me.”
A cold male voice suddenly rang out.
Before the guy could react, the suitcase in his hand was taken by a
larger hand reaching over from the side.
William lifted the suitcase with one hand and grabbed Isabella’s hand
with the other. “Let’s go.”
Isabella hadn’t reacted yet and stared blankly at William. “William?”
