Chapter 60
Jeremy froze. Isabella stopped in her tracks when she saw who had
arrived. Scarlett walked in from outside,She calmly removed the
electronic watch from her wrist and placed it on the desk in front of
Hannah.“Mr. Wright, my watch records both video and audio.
Everything that happened this afternoon was captured.”
This wasn’t the first time she’d been treated this way by Elizabeth
and the others. She had thought about recording evidence before and
telling a teacher or the police.
But she had been too frightened to turn the recordings in. Just as Aria
and Zoey had said, she was nobody–without power, without
influence. If she submitted these recordings, they would probably be
intercepted by the Perez Family soon enough.
More importantly, she feared that crossing Elizabeth would get her
expelled. She had grown up without a father, and her mother had
struggled to raise her on her own.It wasn’t easy for her to attend
Stellar High School. Her mom worked so hard for her tuition, for her

to have good educational resources,Her mother had to juggle several
part–time jobs just to make ends meet, so she could only endure the
bullying. She told herself that, sooner or later, Elizabeth and the
others would grow bored and leave her alone. though she had no idea
what she’d done wrong… Earlier in the bathroom, Aria told Zoey that

Elizabeth’s mom had arrived and Isabella had been called to the office
too.
Truthfully, she was terrified. If she had any sense, she wouldn’t have
risked crossing Elizabeth by coming here. But Isabella was in this
mess because of her, and she couldn’t just walk away. Truthfully, she
was terrified. If she had any sense, she wouldn’t have risked crossing
Elizabeth by coming here. But Isabella was in this mess because of
her, and she couldn’t just walk away. Maybe Isabella’s parents had
sacrificed a great deal to transfer her to this school. Isabella had
stood up for her–so if she couldn’t even find the courage to speak up
in return, how could she live with herself?even if she protected
herself, she would live with guilt and regret for the rest of her life.
Hannah picked up the watch and tapped on one of the recordings.
Moments later, the unmistakable voices of Elizabeth, Aria, and Zoey
filled the office.
“Speak up! What are you wearing? Let me see.” “Aria! Zoey! What are
you standing there for? Hurry up and grab that thing from this little
bitch!”
“What is this? That’s disgusting!”
“Scarlett, is your family really that poor? You’re guarding that cheap
hair clip as if it’s the only thing you own.“I thought it was some kind
of treasure!” “Her mom works as a cleaner, Elizabeth, what do you

expect?
“Have you lost your mind? Why are you digging through the trash?”
“And where do you think you’re going? Did I give you permission to
leave?”
The camera kept shaking, and Elizabeth and the others‘ faces only
flashed by briefly, but combined with the audio, it wasn’t hard to
guess what was happening.
The office fell into a heavy silence. The teachers exchanged uneasy
glances, their expressions hard to read. Meanwhile, Elizabeth and the
others‘ faces darkened with embarrassment and anger.
That bitch Scarlett, how dare she come? She actually filmed them,
actually recorded it! Did she have a death wish? Alice froze too.
She had always known Elizabeth could be difficult, but she believed
that without concrete evidence, no matter what the victim claimed,
nothing could truly be proven.she could pretend nothing had
happened. But she never expected Elizabeth would be stupid enough
to get caught, and that girl had actually recorded everything!
For a moment, Alice didn’t know how to respond. Every word she had
said earlier now felt like a slap to her own face, leaving her flushed

Isabella lifted her eyes to look at him and nodded.
“Ms. Nguyen.” Jeremy didn’t look at Isabella again. “Such a small
matter, and you still haven’t handled it?”
Hannah turned around at the sound and saw it was Jeremy. She
frowned. “Why are you here?”
“Your Class 11’s business has gotten so big that all the students know
about it. Shouldn’t I be here?”
“It’s just a little friction between students. It’ll be resolved soon.”
Jeremy looked at her. “How soon is soon?”
He put his hands behind his back and said flatly, “Troublesome
students should be reported directly to me. I’ll discipline them
according to school rules and regulations. In serious cases, they can
be expelled directly.”
He glanced at Isabella, then looked at Hannah and said coldly, “So I

There were already so many people gathered outside. Did she want
the students to watch the show together? If word got out, people who
didn’t know better would think something major happened at their
