Chapter 88
Violet sent Henry a message telling him she wouldn’t be doing the gigs anymore.
Henry asked her what happened.
Violet didn’t give a specific reason, just said she didn’t want it to affect her studies.
After turning off her phone, Violet sighed. “If it weren’t for that man, I actually would’ve liked to keep singing.”
Having an audience, being on stage–even though it couldn’t compare to those big stages, at least people showed up, and she had her small group of listeners.
Isabella knew what she was thinking and couldn’t help glancing at her. “Violet, you could just post your songs online. You don’t have to sing at bars.”
These days, when singers release new songs, don’t they put them online right away?

Chapter 88
When habella found out, she wrote this song, planning to give it to Violet. Unfortunately, before she could give her the song, she herself had died.
It was a huge regret.
Violet picked up the song Isabella wrote and looked at it, and even tried to hum a few bars. Suddenly her eyes lit up. “Isabella, you’re a genius!”
She thought that Isabella’s song was really good! It was like it was tailor–made for her!
The more Violet looked at it, the more satisfied she was. She hugged Isabella and kissed her on the cheek. “You’re my little angel! I love this song so much?
Isabella wiped the saliva off her face. “Go try posting it online.”
“Okay.
Violet was thrilled.
She’d find a professional recording studio this weekend to record the song.
That evening, Aurora and Scarlett, worried that Violet might be upset about the breakup, suggested going out to eat at a restaurant near school to celebrate Violet finally cutting ties with that jerk.
“Isabella, what do you want to eat?” Aurora asked.
Isabella remembered that William was coming to bring her dinner, so she said, “You guys go tonight. I won’t join you.”
“What? You’re not coming?”
“I have something to do.”
She wouldn’t stand William up–she was afraid someone might die.
Hearing Isabella say this, Aurora looked very disappointed, saying that without Isabella, she’d eat half as much.
Isabella was speechless and could only pat her shoulder to comfort her. “I’ll treat you next time.”
Aurora still didn’t cheer up.
Isabella thought for a moment and said, “Then I’ll treat just you next time.”
Aurora was immediately delighted. Really? That’s great,”
Having a meal alone with a beautiful woman was an honor for her.
Violet, standing nearby, looked displeased. ‘Aurora, what is this? You’re happy to exclude me and Scarlett?
Her intention to monopolize Isabella was too obvious.
“No way. Even the usually innocent Scarlett shook her head. “Aurora, you can’t hog her. You have to let me and Violet come too.

Isabella looked at them. “Alright, alright. I’ll treat Aurora alone first, then treat everyone together. Is that okay?”
“No.” Violet and Scarlett said in unison. “Why does Aurora get two meals?”
Aurora immediately started arguing with Violet.
Isabella took advantage of their distraction and quietly slipped away. After leaving through the school’s back gate, she saw William standing not far away.
William wore a classic black suit, his long legs straight and slender beneath his pants. His eyes were deep, his features sharply defined like a sculpture. Just standing there, he radiated a powerful, distinguished aura that was impossible to ignore.
The only thing out of place with all this was the huge pink cotton candy William was holding.
“William, why are you standing here holding cotton candy?”
It was really jarring!
“To give it to you, of course.” William’s tone was matter–of–fact.
Isabella said somewhat helplessly, “But standing here like this really doesn’t fit your image. You’re really attracting attention.”
‘So what? William placed the cotton candy in her hand.
Isabella’s eyelid twitched. She opened her mouth to say something else, but her view was filled with the fluffy, soft cotton candy, its faint sweet fragrance wafting under her nose.
Isabella swallowed and took a bite.
