Jeremy put down his book and snorted coldly, when he looked up at Hannah, ‘Ms. Nguyen, did I hear that right? The troublemaker is Isabella from your class

again?”

Hannah’s eyelid twitched.

Why now of all times? Why did this have to happen when Jeremy was here? There would never be an end to this now.

She turned to the class monitor beside her when Jeremy’s stare grew aggressive, and while they reported on class matters, she said,, ‘Go get Isabella.”

Violet stared at her blankly.

Juniper sat in the chair Hannah had given her, her eyes red.

Jeremy stood to the side with his arms crossed. He sneered at them when they arrived, “You again, Isabella. Senior year is the most stressful time academically, and so many students don’t even have the time or energy to get into a fight. But clearly, you’re the exception.”

Hannah pressed her lips together, “Mr. Wright, there was a reason the last time, I already explained this.”

Jeremy’s jaw tightened, and he looked at Hannah with dissatisfaction.

kind of behavior is that? No moral character at all!”

He gave Isabella a sideways glance, “If she were my daughter, I’d discipline her properly. I don’t know what the Taylor Family is thinking, bringing her back here without teaching her any manners.”

Isabella’s eyes lifted slightly, staring at Jeremy, her whole presence radiating tension.

Violet couldn’t take it anymore, “Are you done? You think you are so great just because you’re the dean?”

She’d never liked Jeremy. Once when he caught her not wearing her uniform, he gave her a harsh lecture, hurting her with his harsh words and sarcasm.

He turned to look at Hannah, “These are the students you’ve raised? One more rude than the next, no different from those bad girls out there. Do I need to put marks on their records before you’re satisfied?”

Hannah’s expression changed when she heard this, “Enough, Violet, Stop talking. I called for Isabella, why are you here making trouble?

“Besides threatening to put marks on records, what else can you do? Violet glared at Jeremy. She was truly pained. “Go ahead and do it, I don’t like studying

anyway.”
