Ash stood in front of the bathroom mirror, took a deep breath, looked at the familiar yet unfamiliar self in the mirror, and closed her eyes slightly.

The phone on the countertop rang. She picked it up and saw that it was an interstitial advertisement message pushed by a platform. [Are you the kind of person who is unaware of love?]

She thought, ‘What does that mean?

‘How can one not be aware of love?‘

Ash would usually ignore this type of message. Yet today, as if possessed, she clicked it open and found a test link.

She said, “What is this clickbait? Who would actually fall for it?”

However, Ash clicked on it.

She leaned against the wall, staring intently at the screen as she seriously completed the twenty–odd questions.

[Congratulations! Your level of obliviousness to love is 100%!] The result that suddenly popped up almost made her throw her phone.

She thought, ‘What kind of unscrupulous and baffling test was this?‘

Ash’s heart skipped a beat for some reason, and she became slightly irritated. She reported the test link and remarked: [Spreading unscrupulous and untrue information!”

“What’s wrong? Are you okay?” As soon as she came out of the restroom, she found Calvert standing at the door, looking down at her, his dark pupils hiding an unfathomable abyss, obscure and unclear.

Ash quickly glanced at him, her mind full of the test results she had just seen.

She cursed through gritted teeth, scratching her hair. “What kind of garbage is this. It’s misleading people.”

Calvert was confused.

“What’s wrong with me?” He simply changed the subject of the previous sentence, seeing her lost in annoyance, and waved his hand in front of her.

Ash lowered her eyes and mumbled, “Nothing. Why are you standing here? Do you have to watch me even when I go to the bathroom?”

Hearing this, he raised an eyebrow, his eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of amusement in his cold voice. “I don’t have that kind of hobby. You’ve been in there for half an hour. I thought something happened to you.”

Only then did Ash realize that it was almost 6:30 in the evening. It was all because of that test question that wasted her time. When the results came out, her first reaction, besides questioning, was to find similar questioners in the comment section.

However, the comment section was full of praise for the accuracy of the test.

So she scrolled through nearly ten minutes of comments just to find one that agreed with her. In the end, she found it, much to her satisfaction, and gave it a thumbs up.

Then, she immediately reported the link.

During this half hour, Ash was fiddling with this matter in the bathroom.

Of course, no one else would know about this.

She said, “I am just constipated, okay?”

Ash’s mind was elsewhere, and she casually gave a vulgar and easy–to–understand reason that was hard to refute.

He obviously didn’t expect her to give such a reason. His expression froze for a moment. He felt that Ash was indeed different from ordinary women.

She was very special.

Seeing Calvert’s somewhat shocked expression, she curled her lips, and her irritable and gloomy mood was swept away. “What’s wrong? Do you think someone as beautiful as me shouldn’t be so vulgar? Did I scare you? Has your image of me changed once again?”

Calvert was obviously serious and even gave his advice in a serious manner.

Ash was speechless.

She thought, ‘How come the topics between us always get sidetracked so easily?

‘And he believes everything I say!

‘Come on, I was just saying it casually. Why was he suddenly so serious?‘

Ash was speechless. She let out a grunt and glanced at him indifferently. “I told you to rest. If you move around again, the hard–won improvement will return to its original state.”

The dinner was quiet and harmonious.

But unexpectedly, after dinner, the peace was broken.

Shane Horton stood at the door, his expression anxious. “The photos of you and Jade have been posted online.

“Public opinion is very bad, claiming that you are a rich kid playing with the feelings of female stars.” Shane glanced back at Ash, who was sitting on the sofa, calmly watching TV.

Calvert had expected this to happen. Once Jade chose to enter the entertainment industry, some things from the past would be made public.

Shane added, “Jade’s agent has contacted us and said that they are prepared to let the issue die down, because no matter what kind of statement is issued, some people will not believe it. It is better to just let it go. This will also bring a wave of heat to both of us, but you are not going to debut, so you don’t need this kind of heat.”

Shane obviously disagreed with the agent’s decision, but he still had to respect Calvert’s choice, after all, he was his boss.

“Since when did such a thing need to be reported directly to me? Let the head of public relations take care of it.” Calvert’s cold expression revealed no other emotion.
