Fina always looked beautiful, but somehow her morning face was always the most calm. It made her glow with the few streaks of light that had passed through the dark curtain of my room. Some hit her body, while others hit her hair making the black almost a blue color.

“I’m going to go. You should take a shower, you smell like me She said, before leaving the room. Damn I hated to waist such a wonderful smell, but she was right. They’d pick up on her smell, and search for her. Knowing them they’d question her relentlessly, before she snapped and gave them whatever information they wanted to hear. I wasn’t made at the thought of her spilling everything about us, I was more pissed off about them using her to get to

Showered and dressed I made my way downstairs, noise from her room made me smile. Stepping on the bottom floor, as my Beta opened the front door to the Royals. Lupus Brentano stepped forward, making my blood boil. The man was the head of the Royal family as of right now, his father had been around when my father was alive. I swore the males of his family got more disturbed and twisted as they bred onward, as if that weren’t enough he had brought his four best men.

Royals didn’t have a Beta or Enforcer, they had first and seconds. Which really was the same thing, but they thought the name was more clear.

“Alpha Hadar” Lupus smirked.

“Mr. Brentano” Bowing my head. Wolf growled from inside, he not only hated bowing to others, but he hated this man with a passion. With as much respect as I could muster, I did my best to smile at the imposing bastards.

“What do I owe the honor of the Royals, to my territory?” Keeping my voice calm, as my Beta came to my left. Lupus’s smirk fell a little, as he ran his eyes over me.

“We were in the neighborhood” That was a lie if I ever did see one.

“Well its an Honor” Grinning. Two can play that game. He hummed as if he could really careless, and soon looked to his first.

“Alpha we would like to look around your property” He said, still looking at his first.

“Oh, is something out of order?” Stuffing my hands into pockets, to keep from strangling his neck. Turning back to me, he smirked again.

“We heard you have taken in a new she–wolf. One without a mate. What is the reasoning behind this.” I knew it.

“She wasn’t happy at her current pack, and asked to join mine”

“And you just granted her this, without any other reasoning behind her motives?” He seemed admit about getting everything about Fina out of me, in one fowl swoop.

“Her reasoning is personal, and I would hate to sour her opinion of her new pack. She has just now started to trust us, I wouldn’t want to break that trust” Nodding a little, he turned to his second.

“Retrieve the she wolf” Bowing to his master, the second stared for the stairs.

“Excuse me, but you have no right to roam my house without reasoning” Holding a little sour back. The second stopped halfway, looking at Lupus.

“We are under the assumption you have tricked the she wolf. We want to hear from her mouth, that she came here willingly” My mouth went dry, as I held the anger. How dare he assume such a horrible thing, I might be a cruel Alpha but I wouldn’t steal she wolves from their homes to satisfy my own needs.

“That doesn’t give you the right to barge around my home, I can easily call for her” Huffing out in my annoyance.

“That wont be necessary” My eyes shot to the top of the stairs where Fina was showered and looking like a goddess. I saw the way Lupus looked at her, his eyes darkened with lust and had me holding off and punching his face.

“Is this the she wolf?” He asked, reforming himself.

“I have a name” She snapped. Arms folded over her chest, and a face that could kill.

“Forgive me, Ms. Heart” Smiling at her, I nearly chocked on my spit. Walking down the stairs, she stopped at the large male who was blocking her from moving the rest of the way.

“Please move” Glaring at the man, who was glaring back at her. Holding eye contact with him, he pushed his power around her which didn’t do a thing. His growl had her smirking, as she held her ground.

“Stanton” Lupus said, and his second moved out of her way. It was barely hearable as she whispered.

“Good doggy” All that was missing was the pat to the head. Stanton’s face reddened, but Lupus held up a hand making him still. Passing the Royals Lupus took a whiff of her scent, letting his eyes swirl in a darker shade. He was finding her a bit to much to his liking, and it was bothering me to a dangerous point. Standing off to my right, she kept her arms folded and eyes up. The Royals looked her over, some with plain faces others with interest.
