Alpha Dorian’s POV

As I sat in my office, it was hard to believe that my pups were turning eighteen today.

Eighteen years ago, I nearly ruined everything with my beautiful Camilla.

Thankfully, she gave me a second chance and accepted me back as her mate, making me the happiest man alive.

Even now, every time we touch, the sparks between us still send shivers down my spine.

Just thinking about her is enough to stir something in me.

Maybe I should head back to bed and enjoy some time with my sexy mate.

I sensed someone approaching my office.

The closer they got, the more certain I was-it was Skyla.

I could recognize my daughter’s scent anywhere, and I could feel her emotions, too.

Before she could even knock, I called out, “Come in.”

“What’s on your mind, Princess?” I asked as she stepped inside.

She let out a sigh before speaking..

“Daddy, does the offer still stand for me to go to the Alpha King’s pack and train the she-wolves there, since they know I’m the strongest female wolf in the world?”

“What made you change your mind, Princess?” I asked.

With a soft smile, she replied, “Please don’t get mad, Daddy, but I’m actually relieved it happened. Cassian rejected me, and I just don’t want to be around him at school anymore.”

Even though anger simmered inside me, I kept my composure. I didn’t want Skyla to see how furious I really

was.

I assured her that the Alpha King and his pack would be thrilled she had accepted the offer. I also told her I’d

make the necessary arrangements for her to receive her diploma early and leave Monday morning.

Then I reminded her to get ready for the shifting ceremony tonight.

She doesn’t know the real reason I wanted her to go, but she’ll find out soon enough.

Honestly, I’m glad that mutt rejected her-it’s all part of the Moon Goddess’s plan.

Skyla’s POV

Time to Get Ready for the Shifting Night

As I slowly made my way back to my room, a thought crossed my mind-I was going to show that sorry

excuse of a mate exactly what he was missing. But there was one problem: I had nothing to wear that

screamed badass she-wolf.

The moment I opened my door, I was met with excited squeals.

It was Alexia-my best friend-and my other closest friends whom I usually only get to see when I visit my

grandparents at the Silvermoon Pack. I squealed in delight, “Alexia! Savannah! Veronica! Eliza! What are you

doing in my room?”

The triplets-daughters of Alpha Mason and Luna Kat-grinned and shouted in unison, “We’re about to turn

you into a bad bitch!”

I couldn’t help the massive smile that spread across my face.

In my head, I whispered, Watch yourself, Cassian. You won’t know what hit you.

First, I soaked in a relaxing bubble bath in the ensuite jacuzzi tub.

After that, Alexia worked her magic straightening my natural, kinky ginger hair until it flowed smoothly down

my back. Savannah took over to do my nails, while Eliza pampered my toes. Now, Veronica was finishing up my makeup-or a “face beat,” as they liked to call it.

I rarely wore makeup, so they refused to let me look until everything was done.

When Veronica was finally finished, they guided me to my bed-still not letting me peek at the final look in the mirror. On the bed sat a box, a diamond bracelet, and a single yellow rose-my favorite flower, and clearly

from my Dad.

Attached was a handwritten note:

“Princess, knowing you as I do, I figured you didn’t give much thought to what you’d wear tonight. So I sent

the girls to pick out a dress for you. You’re already beautiful, but tonight, that beauty will shine even brighter.

And I hope you’ll come to see just how special you truly are.

Dad.”

When I opened the box, I could hardly believe my eyes.
