Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 1056

Sebastian understood the importance of respecting one's elders, but only when they acted like people. Although Fiona was technically his mother-in-law, she clearly didn't treat him as a human being.

Constant tolerance would only embolden her, and when patience reached its limit, there was no need to endure any longer.

Despite Fiona's considerable strength, she was like a child in kindergarten compared to Sebastian. As soon as Fiona moved closer, Sebastian struck her hard across the face.

With a sharp, echoing slap, Fiona spun back once again, crashing forcefully to the ground.

"You little wretch, I'll kill you!" Fiona roared as she climbed back up, lunging at Sebastian with fury in her eyes.

Sebastian extended his right hand. There was a cold glint flashing as a longsword appeared in his grip, and his lips curved into a mocking smile.

Fiona had been a furious tigress just moments ago, but when she saw Sebastian draw the sword, she broke into a cold sweat and immediately froze in her tracks.

"What are you planning to do?" Fiona's face was filled with terror.

Sebastian sneered. "I have a short temper. Since you keep insulting me, I might just have to kill you!"

"You wouldn't dare!" Fiona's voice quivered with a mix of anger and fear.

"Oh, still trying to threaten me?" Sebastian's smirk deepened as he flashed forward like a ghost, appearing directly before her and raising his sword to strike.

"Don't kill me!" Fiona's face turned pale. She dropped to her knees with a thud, trembling uncontrollably.

"Weren't you saying I wouldn't dare? So why are you kneeling?" Sebastian asked with a smug smile.

"We're family. I'm your mother-in-law; how could you possibly kill me?" Fiona forced a flattering smile.

Sebastian quickly seized her by the neck. His voice was dark and menacing when he said, "This is my first and last warning. If you provoke me again, I will kill you! Understood?"
