"No, please!" Lila cried. Her face was pale with terror as she backed away, pleading, "Mr. Aime, if you have a grudge, take it up with him. This has nothing to do with me."

"You're his woman. If I can't find him, you'll have to do," Aime said. With a swift, powerful step, he closed the distance, reaching her in an instant.

Before Lila could react, Aime grabbed her by the throat and forced her to the ground.

"Mr. Aime, please, have mercy!" Lila cried in fear as she struggled desperately. Inside, her hatred for Sebastian intensified.

"Once I've had my fun, I'll let you go. Don't blame me for this, blame the fact that you're that bastard's woman. He dared to offend me, so I'll deal with him after I'm done with you!"

Aime's eyes glinted with a dangerous madness as he tore at Lila's clothes, exposing her pale skin.

"Let me go! Help! Somebody!" Lila screamed in a mix of anger and terror. Her voice sounded frantic.

"You ungrateful wretch!" Aime shouted when he was startled by her cries, and slapped her hard across the face.

Since they were in the middle of an examination, Aime didn't want anyone catching him assaulting a woman; that would not only ruin his chances of entering the Royal Academy but could also lead to severe punishment.

To ensure she wouldn't cry out, he channeled a bit of his energy into the slap, knocking her unconscious.

With a cold smirk, Aime gripped her clothes, ready to tear them apart. Just as he prepared to continue, a chilling voice rang out from nearby, "You're courting death!"

Aime turned, only to see a man striding toward him. It was Sebastian.
