After leaving Berry Manor, Sebastian returned to the academy and sought out the dean, Elwood Sylvan.
"Supreme Lord Sebastian, you're here. Please, have a seat," Elwood greeted him with deep respect. He was fully aware of Sebastian's true identity.
He was the Supreme One, the only non-native monarch in Windwalker Kingdom, second only to the king himself. During the campaigns against Evolet and Senan Kingdoms, Sebastian had demonstrated incredible power, earning Elwood's utmost admiration.
"Mr. Sylvan, is there still no news of my father?" Sebastian asked hopefully.
Elwood shook his head. "Supreme Lord Sebastian, your father only stayed in the academy for a few months, kept a very low profile, and had few friends. He didn't inform anyone of his departure. Given how many years have passed, it's nearly impossible to trace his whereabouts."
Sebastian's face fell with disappointment. He had once believed joining the Royal Academy would lead him to clues about his father, only to find it was all in vain.
"Supreme Lord Sebastian, there is another matter. The kingdom has awarded you a city as your domain. Have you chosen one yet?" Elwood asked.
Sebastian's eyes lit up with interest. "Do you have any recommendations, Mr. Sylvan?"
Elwood smiled. "I do know of a city that might interest you. It's called Aruna City, located not within Windwalker Kingdom's borders but in the northern frontier of Evolet Kingdom, separated from the Thousandfold Empire by the vast Monte Mountain Range.
"This range is one of the largest in the world, stretching over 3,000 miles east to west, towering at nearly 10,000 feet at its highest points, with the lowest parts still over a thousand feet. The mountain range is home to numerous powerful beasts, and Aruna City lies within it, serving as a key transit hub to the Thousandfold Empire.
"Aruna City is quite prosperous, second only to Evolet's capital, Evolet City. Its mountainous surroundings make it easy to defend and hard to conquer, so that makes it an ideal domain. Of course, I'm only offering it as a suggestion; the final decision rests with you."
Sebastian nodded thoughtfully. "Thank you, Mr. Sylvan, for sharing this. I'll give it careful consideration."
"Does such a person even exist, Supreme Lord Sebastian?" Stephanie asked curiously.
"That doesn't matter," Sebastian replied with a knowing smile. "What matters is that the Blancs believe it."
Stephanie instantly understood his intent. By now, the Supreme Merchants Guild was the leading guild in Windwalker Kingdom, even one of the most prominent in the southern region. Spreading a rumor was effortless.
In just a single day, whispers of "the Healer" began circulating everywhere.
Whether in major guilds or small taverns, people eagerly discussed the news, recounting it with great detail. Some individuals who had supposedly been "healed" even showed up to testify to its authenticity.
