"Before you die, I'll be sure to tell you!" Sebastian growled while launching an attack. With a powerful step off the ground, he charged forward like a predator. He closed the distance to Evander in an instant and delivered a fierce, killing blow with his sword.

"I don't care who you are. You're going to die today!" Evander roared as he was equally bloodthirsty. Beyond his hatred, he felt a deep-seated fear toward Sebastian.

As an Intermediate Deity Realm warrior, he couldn't believe he was feeling such fear toward someone from the younger generation. But the reality was undeniable. If he didn't eliminate Sebastian today, this young man would undoubtedly become a terrifying threat in the future.

As Sebastian's sword came down with tremendous force, Evander sneered while summoning a shield of spiritual energy around himself to block the relentless sword energy shooting from the ground. As he lifted his massive bell with both hands, he swung it down at Sebastian.

Though not a body refinement cultivator himself, Evander's spiritual power was immense, and the power contained in the bell was equally devastating with each strike.

Once again, Harmony Blade clashed against the bell, releasing a deafening boom like rolling thunder. Sparks erupted from the impact, illuminating the area with blinding light as if it were daylight.

Though his spiritual shield blocked much of it, the attack was draining his energy significantly. Combined with the effort he had already expended breaking through two fifth-level defensive formations, Evander was beginning to feel his strength waning.

Evander was starting to panic. He realized that Sebastian had deliberately waited for him to exhaust his spiritual energy breaking through the defenses, only to lure him into the killing formation.
