Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 1204

"You must have a death wish to demand something like that?" Lydia's anger flared like wildfire, and her eyes burned with fury.

The crowd was stunned by Damir's audacity.

Lydia wasn't just anyone. She was the heiress of the Skyward Chamber of Commerce, and her grandfather was an elder of Gaudium Sacred Ground.

For Damir to make such a bold demand—to spend the night with him—was a reckless, almost suicidal move.

But he didn't flinch. He simply grinned and said, "Lydia, I'm just laying out my terms. If you're scared, you can always back out."

She hesitated. Losing money would sting, but if she lost, it wasn't just the money she had to worry about. It was the humiliating price she would have to pay

Damir's grin widened. "To be fair, I'll give you double the time to pick your stones. Plus, you can bring in an outside helper. Just make sure that they're from our generation."

It was a calculated move. He knew that few people among their peers had mastered stone selection at his level, and he was one of the best. There were two other experts in the crowd, but they were from an older generation. No matter who Lydia chose, he was confident in his chances.

"Fine. You said it!" Lydia fumed and was unwilling to back down. She scanned the crowd for a potential assistant, and her gaze finally landed on Sierra.

"Ms. Dahlman, I hear your skills are on par with the masters. Can you help me? Name your price, and I'll make it happen," Lydia asked expectantly.

Sierra glanced at Sebastian.

Lydia quickly caught on and turned to him. "You must be Mr. Knowles, ranked 98 on the Potential Leader Chart, right? I'd like her to assist me. What do you think?"

"I'm not Mr. Knowles. My last name is Wilder," Sebastian replied with a smile.

"Ah… I'm sorry. I saw you and Ms. Dahlman together, so I thought that you were Adam Knowles. I'm sorry," Lydia quickly apologized.

"It's fine. She isn't feeling well at the moment. If you trust me, I can pick the stones for you," he said, still smiling.
